CANCELLATION & NON-FULFILLMENT

Agreement may be canceled by theadvertiser or his agent prior to its full termwith the following provisions: Cancellationmust be made in writing and must bereceived before closing date. Ifcancellation is received after closing date,buyer is responsible for full payment ofthat insertion. In the event of cancellation,the rate is to be adjusted (“short-rated”)accordingly.

CREDIT INFORMATIONOrders subject to approval of buyer’s

credit by the Publisher. Credit limit to beestablished by the Publisher. Newadvertisers must accompanyorder/contract with completed creditapplication and payment for the first threeinsertions. Accounts are considereddelinquent if not paid 30 days after invoicedate. All open invoices over 90 dayssubject to loss of agency commissions.Delinquent accounts may be subject toservice charge of 2% compoundedmonthly on the unpaid balance.

AD PRODUCTIONAny maintenance or recreation ofcorrupted files will be billed to theadvertiser or his agency at the current timeand labor production rate. Any 4/coloradvertising that does not have anacceptable 4/color proof, we will pull apress proof and charge the cost back tothe advertiser.

LATE ADS• All materials received after the Material

Deadline are considered late ads and will be charged a Late Charge: $65.00 per page.

• Material received late and needing production work such as: copy change, key code changes etc., will be charged both a late charge and a production charge.

• Ad material received late but not to Hi-Torque’s specifications will be chargeda late charge for processing file.

SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS• All advertising materials are to be sent toHi-Torque Publications, Attn: AdvertisingProduction Manager, 25233 Anza Dr.,Valencia, CA 91355.• All ads must be recieved and processedby Hi-Torque Publications. No late ads cango direct to the printer.

CONTRACT REGULATIONSRates are subject to change upon notice

from the Publisher. Publisher guaranteesthat signed orders and contracts will behonored at contract rate in the next issuefollowing the announcement of a rate

increase. Advertising in issues subsequentto such an increase will then be billed atprevailing rates. At the time a rate changebecomes necessary, advertiser may cancelas of the effective increase date withoutshort rate.

If an order and/or new material is notreceived by the closing date for acontracted insertion—and in absence ofwritten instructions to the contrary—Publisher will repeat the last advertisementrun. He may at his discretion, however,omit the ad or run substitute copy. Thebuyer is nevertheless responsible forpayment in full for the scheduled insertion.

COPY REGULATIONSThe Publisher reserves the right to

accept or reject all advertising copy whichat his discretion is deemed objectionable,obscene, profane, pornographic ordetrimental to the industry whether or notthe ad had previously been acceptedand/or published. The advertiser assumesfull responsibility for the content of alladvertisements. Hi-Torque is notresponsible for any production chargesincurred with the changing of an ad tomeet our standards. If you have any doubtsabout your ad copy being accepted, pleasecontact your advertising representative assoon as possible.
