1 Remove the following:-Seats-Upper side fairings-Fuel tank-Intake runners with filters-Airbox

3 Remove the fuel rail to access the fuelinjectors. To remove the fuel rail remove the 4bolts holding it to the throttle bodies.Leave the injectors in the throttlebody. Don’t lose the Orings for the injectors

2 Remove the clip from each injector tothe fuel rail (Fig. B)

5 Lay the PCIII in the tail section androute the harness down the right handside of the bike towards the throttlebodies.

6 Plug the PCIII harness in-line of thestock wiring harness and fuel injectorsPCIII harness:Orange - cylinder #1Yellow - cylinder #2Green - cylinder #3Blue - cylinder #4

4 Unplug the stock wiring harness fromeach injector (Fig. D).

6 Locate the stock Throttle PositionSensor connector (Fig. F).

7 Unplug the stock TPS connector andplug the PCIII harness in-line.Removing the right hand fairingmakes this step easier.

8 Reinstall the fuel rail9 Reinstall the airbox

Make sure the PCIII ground wire ispulled towards the outside of theframe.

10 Route the PCIII ground wire along thestock ground wire.

11 Attach the ground wire of the PCIII tothe negative side of the battery(Fig. G).

12 Install the PCIII in the tail sectionusing the supplied velcroMake sure to clean both surfaces withthe alcohol swab before attaching.

13 Unplug the stock O2 sensor from themain wiring harness (Fg. J). This connection is located near thestarter motor. The O2 sensor will nolonger be connected to anything. Itcan be removed from the exhaust ifdesired.

13 Verify that you have all electronicssecurely connected before trying tostart the motorcycle

14 Reinstall fuel tank and bodywork.
