OADN Foundation NurseThink LPN Transition Scholarship NurseThink LPN Transition Scholarship was established to assist the student pursuing a professional nursing education and career as a registered nurse. This award is open to applicants that are currently a licensed practical nurse (LPN) enrolled in an associate degree nurse program. The scholarship will be made to one individual annually in the amount of $1,000. The recipient will be recognized, and the award will be presented at the OADN Annual Convention. Requirements The nominees must meet the following requirements: Currently enrolled in a state-approved associate degree nursing program that holds OADN agency membership. Application Process Attach the following to this application by the published deadline: A 500-word letter discussing: o Your decision to pursue a career in nursing, o How your experience has helped prepare you for this decision, and o How your experience and education to date has prepared you for professional practice. o Including where you see yourself over the first five years of your career as a registered nurse.
