PMP Training is a fast-growing market and presents us a great opportunity

Growth of PMI and PMP

3. PMP-Prep classroom trainings – Current Market Situation

Historically, PMI membership is negatively impacted by recession in the US

Opportunities Threats- Because of recession, students want to get certified to be more “employable”

- In a recession, companies look out for “Best Values” which can be provided by PMstudy. Best time to become preferred providers for corporates.

- Government has made it mandatory for some contractors to have PMP certified project managers. Best time to tap into lucrative government training contracts.

- If PMstudy builds its infrastructure for training now, then there will be several opportunities when the markets improve

- Economic recession in the US – individuals have less money to pay for training

- Companies cut down costs and decrease training budgets

- Possibility of burn-out if finances not managed properly (less availability of funds in the market)

While the market is impacted because of economic environment, this also a great opportunity

Opportunities and Threats in the current market

• Cheetah Learning ( http://www.cheetahlearning.com )• PMTI ( http://www.4pmti.com )• RMC Project ( http://www.rmcproject.com )• ESI Intl ( http://www.esi-intl.com )• Proxalt ( http://www.proxalt.com )• Several other providers…

• Our analysis suggests that PMP Providers have been adversely impacted because of the recession in US economy and have decreased PMP-trainings by up to 50%. (so, these are tough times for the PMP-training industry)

While there are entrenched competitors, the recession has adversely impacted them

3. PMP-Prep classroom trainings – Current Market Situation

• When written in Chinese the word "crisis" is composed of two characters - one represents danger and the other represents opportunity.  ~John F. Kennedy

• The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes.  ~Benjamin Disraeli

• PMstudy believes in the long-term potential for PMP exam training : so, we want to build the infrastructure (best quality training methodology, best faculty, best processes and best corporate relationships) which will help us become the market leaders in PMP exam training once the recession ends(6 – 12 months???).

• We are entrepreneurial and are in it for the long-term opportunity!!!

Details provided to faculty for further follow-up (preferably faculty in the local area from where student called) **

** : Calls by faculty are optional. PMstudy encourages faculty to talk with students so that they can understand student expectations better, and this is a practice followed in several successful companies (e.g. GE, Cisco, Microsoft etc.) where technical people talk directly with customers to better understand customer requirements. However, some faculty can opt not to take these calls, in which case, such calls will be routed to other available faculty.

** : This will be tracked. If a student who has talked with a PMstudy faculty signs up and makes payment, faculty will be paid $ 100 as incentive fee (for each student). This is beyond the remuneration for faculty training classes.

*** : The faculty remuneration is variable depending on number of people in the class – to be discussed shortly
