The management and philosophy of the Mile High goes hand in hand with the NationalAssociation’s core policies and we strive to provide you with “real world” genetics that you cantake home and put into a production program. Over 60 years ago, founding Red Angusmember and first President Waldo Forbes stated: “The policy of the Red Angus Association isto discourage the more artificial practices in purebred cattle production, and to place its faithinstead in objective test, consisting for the most part of comparisons within herds of factorsof known economic importance and known heritability. By making it an integral part of theregistration system, the Red Angus breeders feel that even faster progress can be madetoward the ultimate goal of more efficient beef production”. We feel this philosophy is thebases for the success of the breed and has allowed Red Angus purebred breeders to supplycattle to the commercial producers that fit “real world” beef production. The Mile High crewhas been involved in the beef industry, both purebred and commercial, for multiplegenerations and understand the business from pasture to plate. We implanted a large number of eggs in South Dakotaand the next five heifer calves that we are consigning were all produced here in the USA. 607D is a direct daughter of our very famous Olivia donor cow.She has produced over 75 calves now in her career and has exceeded over $500,000 in live progeny, embryo and flush sales. Sale Terms and Conditions:TTEERRMMSS:: Terms of the sale are cash, check, or other terms agreed to inwriting between seller, buyer, and sale manager payable immediately uponconclusion of the sale before animals will be moved. Sale Manager reservesthe right to require a certified check as settlement before releasing anycattle.

PPUURRCCHHAASSEERR’’SS RRIISSKK:: All animals are the owner’s risk prior to their saleand become property of the purchaser as soon as declared sold by theauctioneer.

BBIIDDDDIINNGG:: Any disputes or challenges regarding bids or tie bids will besettled by the auctioneer and his decision will be final.

Red Angus Association of AmericaCore Policies

1) It is the RAAA’s primary role to create an environment that promotes the financial stability of its members.

2) The RAAA supports the development and use of membership-driven strategic planning.

3) The RAAA creates marketing tools for commercial bull customers, creating more demand for Red Angus and Red Angus-influence genetics.

4) The RAAA is committed to objectively describing and recording cattle, utilizing economically sound scientific principleswith the least number of prediction values. Furthermore, the RAAA encourages good stockmanship and sound visualappraisal in seedstock selection.

5) Since its establishment the RAAA has understood and accepted economic value of heterosis through plannedcrossbreeding.

6) The RAAA does not take a role in the marketing of an individual member's cattle therefore the ARA Magazine editorialcontent has a commercial and technical focus. Individual seedstock supplier articles are avoided.

7) It is the duty of the RAAA to proactively communicate with its membership therefore proxy voting is not allowed. Thispolicy was established in the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association at its inception to ensure that voting members arecurrent on all pertinent information.
