The Sun Shines Everywhere is published on a completely random basis. A ustin Tam, member of the Alameda Buena Vista United Methodist Church (left) and Mike Coogan from the US Campaign to End the Occupation attended a briefing in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 19. The Wadi Foquin Briefing was the first of its kind to be held on Capitol Hill. It included a panel of two persons from the village of Wadi Foquin, situated in the Bethlehem area of Palestine, one resident from a nearby village, and one resident of the neighbor- ing Israeli village of Tzur Hadassa. One hundred Congressional staff and com- munity members came to hear about the urgency for Israeli-Palestinian peace, as demonstrated in the microcosm of the vivid account presented. The village faces an ongoing struggle for survival. All members of the delegation joined together to make an urgent call for a just peace and a plea for human rights for all.
