Participation terms   Speed chess game: 15' + 3’ / move.

  Each team wil l consist of five members, four players and one substitute player.

  For each round at least one player must be a working member of the company.

  External players are allowed provided that that the composition of the team will not include more than one player with a Rapid Elo rating (or standard if rapid is not available) above 2400 dated January 2017.

Registration   Registration fee per team: 250 euros

(includes the participation of the team in the Championship + two entry tickets to the ECU Gala Dinner and award ceremony). The cost of extra entry tickets is 35 euros per person.

  The registration will be closed on Thursday, 2nd of November 2017.  

  Payment exclusively by back transfer.

Schedule of the 1st European Corporate Championship   Friday, November 24th: Round 1-4 from 3 pm

till 7 pm.

  Saturday, November 25th: Round 5-9 from 10 am till 5 pm.

  Saturday, November 25th at 7.30 pm. In a prestigious venue in Paris, all the participants are welcome to attend the ECU Gala Dinner and award ceremony of the 1st European Corporate Championship.

Winners’ awards   The award worth 6 000 euros

will be given to the winners :

  First Team : 3 000 euros

  Second Team : 2 000 euros

  Third Team : 1 000 euros

  Special awards and individual medals will be also offered.

  Any corporate entity is allowed to register up to two teams. Chess Clubs, Chess Associations, and Chess Federations are not allowed to participate in the championship.

  A team is composed of 4 players main players and 1 substitute player. The team can't have more than one player over 2400 ELO but should have at least one player below 2000 ELO.

  For each round at least one player of the team shall have a commercial relation with the company with which he is playing for.

  Players shall be in rating order in teams composition (November ratings) in order to play amateurs against amateurs as possible. 

  The registration will be accepted only after a payment of 250 euros (includes participation in the Championship + two entry tickets to the ECU Gala Dinner and award ceremony) will reach the Organizing Committee bank account and an email with the name of the team and the name of each player with his ELO will be sent to the Organizing Committee.

  Each member of the team shall wear a t-shirt where the logo and/or the name of the company will be printed.   The registration will be closed on November 2nd, 2017.

  The tournament will be a Swiss Open of 9 rounds.   The tempo of each game will be 15 minutes per game plus an additional of 3 seconds per move starting from move 1.   To received the awards and prize money, the team shall attend the closing ceremony.
