    subscriber authentication. The VLR controls the allocation of new TMSI

    The MSRN is used to route the call to the MSC which MSis currently located.

    The HON is used by the MSC-A to set up a connection to

    the MSC-B during handover process

    Usually, MSRN and HON share the same numbering plan.

    The format is CC+NDC+individual number. CC and NDCis the same as that of MSISDN. The individual number is

    taken from a pool of numbers specially reserved for

    MSRN.
