SEA SHELLS FOR ALL. Editor and Readers of the Courier:

A merry Christmas to you, and here Is my bit to help make it so. Over &

.'ear ago. I ribbon-tied a beautiful lot <f sea shells for a certain purpose, hen never used them and today I hought, why not play Santa Claus and five them to you who may never go 0 the sea shore. The shells are the .nowy white scallops and variegated >ictans matched in pairs, drilled, then ied with baby ribbons, and I will send

pair to anyone who sends a stamp or postage, or a number of thepi if ou wish, and send postage in propor-ion. Shells are heavier than the seed

1 sent you last spring and will require uore careful wrapping. And all are •velcome to send for there is a fine ot of them.

As to the moon flower seed that I -enl, was glad to hear that some had success, while many failed owing, they hought. to a late and wet spring. I vas in Ohio all this summer so did lot get a chance to get more of the .neon flower seed, so have only a few ^eeds of a year ago. But here I am like a crooked wagon wheel, away "off the track." 1 started to write only of shells:. So let me farther say. please send a plain address, as well as the postage, for would it not be awful in my old age to get cross-eyed, by squinting trying to make out a poor address tiiat looks as though the writer knew it and thought 1 ought to.

Yours, Mrs. Alice Warner.
