From the principal’s desk:
A reminder to all our families
that the Multicultural Food Fair
is on this Saturday from 5 –
9pm. Come along and share
the diversity and harmony of
our school. There will be
entertainment and great food
available.
Our Army Cadets continue at
camp this week. We wish
them well.
The Higher School Certificate
has concluded and there are
many relieved students now
waiting nervously for the
results. We wish them all the
best. Back to Baulko Day is on
December 14th.
Now that Year 12 have
finished the new Year 12
students will take possession of
the Senior Study. This will give
them a space in which to
study during the free periods
and also a place to socialise
at recess and lunch.
The first Recognition Assembly
for second semester will be for
Year 11 this Thursday.

Youth of the Year Competition – Crestwood Lions Club
Crestwood Lions Club conducted its annual Youth of the Year Competition on Thursday
November 15. Maskan Jain from Year 11 represented the School admirably in both the Public
Speaking and Youth Citizenship components of the contest. This is a world wide competition
conducted by Lions International giving Senior Students an opportunity to show their prowess
in Public Speaking and their interest in both their Local and Global Community through active
participation and sound general knowledge.
The competition was very strong as usual with students from William Clarke and Crestwood
High giving Maskan a very tough challenge, however she represented B.H.H.S. exceptionally
well receiving high praise from the judges, for both her interest and knowledge as well as her
proactive involvement.
Congratulations to Maskan for giving up her time to prepare and attend this prestigious
competition.
Should any other students be interested there are several Lions Clubs in the area who will hold
this event in early 2019.
