Description of outer enclosure:

The houSing of the switching staijon will be completely self-contained, mounted on anintegral base, factory assembled in a totally enclosed, aesthetically acceptablecladding, vandal-proof and weather proof housing ready for placing into position upon aconcrete base pad . The complete housing assembly is provided with four lifting lugslocated on the base frame for lining and positioning the whole unit at the site by the useof crane .

The housing of the kiosk is made of corrosion resistant 2mm ALUZINK steel sheets.The steel provides strength while the aluminium and zinc alloy coating providesprotection against corrosion due to harsh environmental conditions. Last finish coat ispowder paint of polymer resin base colour RAL 7033. Double roof with air insulation isprovided.

The access doors of the kiosk are wide and provided with gas spring stoppers. Theyprovided with steel hinges to prevent distortion and misalignment. When they areclosed , they are firmly locked, as such entry of dust, vermin and rain water iscompletely prevented, is also padlockable to prevent from opening of unauthorisedpersonnel. The Switchgear is provided with a drawing pocket fixed at the door of theSwitchgear and one ABB weatherproof nameplate. The edges of the doors are bendedboth. sides to a s s : .
