Les batteries de ces véhicules sont fixéespar le talon.Deux types de batteries sont livrés parleM.P.R. :

Bac couleur nojre : elles sont conçuespour être fi~éès par étrier et tirants.Il est interdit de fixer ces batteriespar le talon (risque de rupture).Bac couleur bleue: elles sont prévuespour être fixées par le talon et peuvent, en dépannage, être fixées par

- étrier et tirants.

Contrôle des batteriesMesurer la tension aux bornes. Celle-cidoit être supérieure ou égale à 12,5 V.Une tension inférieure nécessite unerecharge de la batterie.Peker l'électrolyte. Effectuer une comparaison de densité entre les éléments.La différence entre élément ne doit pasdépasser le poids spécifique de 0,030.

Afin de connaître l'état exact de labatterie, utiliser l'appareil homologuéMOTOROLA 1 BT-1181 W.

Précautions à prendre_Recharger les batteries au 1/1 oe de leurcapacité pendant 10 heures.Ne jamais rajouter de l'électrolyte maisde l'eau distillée.Ne jamais vidanger une batterie de soné1ectrolyte.Veiller à ce que les éléments de la batterie soient toujours recouverts par l'électrolyte.DEBRANCHER TOUJOURS LE CABLE NEGATIF EN PREMIER.La résistance au froid est fonction del'état de charge. Une batterie chargéeà la densité de :

DEPOSE

Débrancher la batterie.Déposer les 2 vis (A) afin d'accéderà la platine.Débrancher les blocs raccords quisont de couleurs différentes (sur laplatine une pastille indique la couleurdu raccord).Débrancher les fils d'al imentation (B).

- Sortir la platine.

The batteries on these vehicles areattached via a «heel ».M.P.R. delivers two types ofbattery .-- Black battery : designed for attach

ment using a yoke and turnbuekles.These batteries must not be attaehedby the heel (risk of damage).

- Blue battery : these are designedfor attaehment by the heel, and as arepair, can be attached by yokesand turnbuckles.

Battery testMeasure the voltageacross the terminaIs.This must be equal to or greater than12.5 V. A lower voltage will cali forreplacement of the battery. Weightthe electrolyte. Compare the cell specifie gravities. The difference betweencells must not exeeed the specifie weightofO. 030.

'To check the exact condition of thebattery, use the MOTOROLA 1 BT·1181 W device.

Débrancher la ,batterie.Débrancher lê câble de tachymètreen tirant paf en dessous.Par en dessous pousser sur le haut dela platine, voyants-contrôle, puis tirerde l'avant.Débrancher les 3 connecteurs (repérer1es couleurs).Débrancher les interrupteurs.Déposer les 2 vis dé fixation despattes avant (A).Sortir l'agrafe placée sur la pattecentrale arrière.Sortir l'ensemble en faisant pressionsur les 3 pattes arrière.

- Discannect the battery.- Discannect the tachameter cable,

pulling if From underneath.From underneath, push against thetap af the panel, then pull From thefront.Discannect the three connectors(mark the colors).

- Disconnect the switches.- Remove bath attaching screws From

front lugs (A).- Extract the fastener located an the

rear center /ug.Remove the assemb/y by pressingagainst the 3 rear /ugs.

REMPLACEMENT DUCIRCUIT IMPRIMÉ

Dévisser les écrous de fixation et debranchement des récepteurs.

Enlever et remplacer le circuit imprimé.

TI:MOINS ET INDICATEURSDE fONCTIONNEMENT

Chaque témoin ou indicateur est alimenté après contact par le circuit imprimé du tableau de bord.

Instruments à aiguille:ils indiquent la température eau, leniveau du carburant.

Témoins de contrôle:une figurine sur chaqu,e témoinindique sa fonction.

Compte-tours (suÎvant optÎon) :il indique la vitesse de rotation dumoteur à partir:

FONCTIONNEMENT DES VOYANTS

Fonction testeur de voyants:

A l'arrêt, contact coupé, les voyantssont éteints.A l'arrêt, contact mis, tous les voyants« alerte » s'allument par l'intermé·diaire du mano·contact huile (51), lafonction testeur de voyants est assurée.Le moteur démarre, le contact passeen position ouvert tous les voyants« alerte» s'éteignent.

Fonction alarme générale :

Lorsque le thermo·contact eau (50) oule contact sur maître-cylindre de frein(5) passe en position fermée (indiquantun incident), le voyant qui correspondainsi que le voyant alarme (W) s'allu·ment, mais les témoins non concernéspar cet incident restent éteints.

Les diodes 05, 06, 07, 08 permettent l'allumage du voyant alarme(W) lorsqu'un des autres circuitsest fermé (incident).

- Les diodes 0', 02, 03, 04 permettent de tester les voyants d'alertelorsque le circuit du voyant {W}est fermé (moteur arrêté).

INDICATOR LlGHT OPERATION

Indicator light tester function :

- Stopped, contact switched off, indicator Iights extinguished.

- Stopped, contact switched on, al/(( alarm )} lights come on via oilpressure switch (51), the indicatorIight tester function is provided.Engine started, the contact changesta the open position " ail (( alarro )}Iights go out.

General alarm function

When the water thermal contact (50)or the brake master cylinder (5) closes(indicating an incident), the correspon·ding indicator, together with the alarmIight (W) Iight >the indicators not inva1·ved in the incident remain extinguished.

- Diodes 05, D6, D7 and DB enableIighting of the alarm indicator (W)when one of the other circuits iscloses (incident).

Diodes Dl, D2, D3 and D4 are usedto test the alert Iights when the indi·cator Iight circuit (W) is closed(engine stopped).

Discannect the battery.Remove the 6 attaching screws onthe casing under the steering wheel.Disconnect the crystal connector(48) from the ancillary panel.

PROJECTEURS

L'optique est positionné par 2 logements ouverts (A) côté extérieur et unlogement de centrage (8) en bas, côtéradiateur. La fixation est assurée par unetige de verrQuillagE!(C).

Pour déposer l'optique, effectuer unquart de tour à la tige du verrouillage(C), pousser l'optique vers l'avant puisfaire glisser l'optique vers le radiateur,

, le sortir après avoir débranché le connecteur projecteur (0), la lanterne (E).

REPOSE

Opérer en sens inverse puis régler lesoptiques.

REGLAGE

- Régler les projecteurs à l'aide d'unappareil homologué.S'assurer que le véhicule est à vide.

- Agir sur la vis moletée du haut pourle réglage en hauteur.Agir sur la vis moletée côté radiateurpour le réglage en direction.

HEADLIGHTS

The optical system is set by means oftwo open housings (A) on the outside,and a centering housing (8) at thebottom on the radiator side. Theattachment 1s made bymeans of alocking rad (C).

Ta remove the optical system, turnthe locking rad (C) thraugh one-quarterof a turn, push the optical system forward, then slide it towards the radiatorand remove, after having disconnectedthe headlight connectar (0) and Iightconnectar (E).

INSTALLATION

Reverse the removal procedure, thenadjust the optical assemblies.

AOJUSTMENT

- Adjust the headlights by means ofan approved device.

- Make sure the vehjcle is empty.- Adjust the top knurled screw ta

adjust height.- Adjust the radiator side screw to

adjust direction.
