Please make sure you have turned in your permission slip and $8.00. THURSDAY will be our Classroom Winter Festival (Make sure to bring in a gift for your classmate and any treats you’d like to share). It will also be our school wide Winter Extravaganza at 6:00pm. Please come out! FRIDAY will be our PAJAMA DAY/Movie Day. Students need to bring in their SOUND INSTRUMENTS. After we present we will enjoy our last day together in 2014 with fun times and movies. Wear your PJ’s I’ll be wearing mine!!! MONDAY-THURSDAY This quarter we have been focusing on SOUND!!! Read the attached page. Your child is to create a simple instrument that creates sound. Each child will bring in their SOUND CREATION and present it to their classmates on Friday/ WRITE/TYPE: HOW TO CREATE A SOUND INSTRUMENT: “My Sound Instrument” Students may write or type this. Each paragraph should have 4-5 sentences: o Paragraph 1: Introduction (Tell a few facts about sound. Ask your Opening Question. Give your topic sentence telling what you will be teaching. List the materials you used to create it.) o Paragraph 2: Steps: (What steps did you take to make your instrument? What did you do first, second, …. continue the steps until you have explained your process. Be very detailed, and don’t forget your transition words!) o Paragraph 3: Making Sound (How do you get your instrument to make sound? How can you make the volume loud or soft? How can you make the pitch high or low?) o Paragraph 4: Conclusion: (How did you feel about making your instrument? What did you enjoy most about it? How did making this instrument help you understand Sound? • Martes será nuestra excursión al teatro a ver a Carolina Navidad. Por favor, asegúrese de que te has convertido en tu permiso y $8,00.

• Jueves será nuestra aula Winter Festival (haga Asegúrese de traer un regalo para su compañero de clase y cualquier golosinas que te gustaría compartir). También será nuestra escuela gran Extravaganza de invierno en 18:00. Por favor sal!

• Viernes será nuestro día de día/película pijama. Los estudiantes deben traer sus instrumentos de sonido. Después presentamos podremos disfrutar de nuestro último día juntos en 2014 con divertidos momentos y películas. Usar tu PJ podrá llevar mío!

LUNES A JUEVES

• Este trimestre nos hemos centrado en sonido!!! Leer la página adjunta. Su niño es crear un instrumento simple que crea el sonido. Cada niño traerá en su creación de sonido y presentarlo a sus compañeros el viernes /

• Escritura/tipo: Como para crear un sonido instrumento: "Mi instrumento de sonido" estudiantes pueden escribir o escribir esto. Cada párrafo debe tener 4-5 oraciones:

o Párrafo 1: Introducción (Decir algunos hechos acerca de sonido. Su pregunta de apertura. Dar su sentencia tema diciendo lo que enseñará. Lista de los materiales que utilizó para crear lo)

o Párrafo 2: Medidas: (qué pasos que tomar para hacer que su instrumento? ¿Qué hiciste primero, segundo, seguir los pasos hasta que ha explicado el proceso. Muy detallado y no olvides tus palabras de transición!)

o En el apartado 3: Fabricación de sonido (¿Cómo consigues tu instrumento para hacer sonido? ¿Cómo puedes hacer el volumen fuerte o suave? Cómo hacer el lanzamiento alto o bajo?)

o Párrafo 4: Conclusión: (Cómo te sentiste sobre cómo hacer su instrumento? ¿Disfrutaste más sobre eso? ¿Cómo convertir a este instrumento ayudará a comprender el sonido? Favorecer a otra persona a usar tus pasos para hacer sonido instrumento J)

• Leer: Todas las noches leyendo durante 20 minutos firmado y registrado en tu registro de lectura
