Our school may be small, but we sure make up for it with our talented students! New Hampshire State Winners: Film – Intermediate Division (3rd – 5th Grade) • 2nd Place Winner: Isabelle Aiello, “Diversity in Nature.” • 3rd Place Winner: Lily Hipp, “Dare to be different.” Photography – Primary Division (K-2nd Grade) • 2nd Place Winner: Miya Chorney, “Pumpkin Family.” Visual Arts – Primary Division (K-2nd Grade) • Honorable Mention Winner: Miya Chorney, “Seasons Change.” Visual Arts – Middle-Junior Division (6th- 8th Grade) 3rd Place Winner: Hannah Kershaw, ” Diversity means … a variety of species around the world.” • Honorable Mention Winner: Rachel Meader, “Diversity means … Love.” Mont Vernon Village School Winners: The following students also advanced to the state level. We had a fantastic time, and thank you Mont Vernon for shar- ing our aspiring young talent. We are so proud of our talented partici- pants and enjoyed working with ev- ery single one of them during our workshops. On another note, sadly we are losing one of our co-chairs Susanna Ries, who has been invaluable. Best wishes for her and we will miss her dearly.
