11.40 Why gold mining is still in the bull market of a lifetime

- The Dollar based global monetary system is in decline, which is bullish for monetary metals like gold and silver.

. Debt cannot be repaid as it is growing expo-nentially compared to income which is growing at best in a linear manner.

. Which of two possible ways is the current mo-netary malaise resolved? Through a deflationary depression or a hyper inflationary depression?

. What kind of monetary system might evolve and what does that mean for money metals mining companies?

. The case for a deflationary depression. - The economics for mining the monetary metals

in either a deflationary depression or hyper inflationary environment.

- Gold mining economics Post Lehman Brothers. - The outlook for gold and silver mining over the

next 5 to 10 years. - Some top gold and silver mining picks.

Michael Legg, Swiss Mining Advisers Ltd., Conference Chairman Michael Legg has over forty years in geology, mining, mine fi-nance, resources investment appraisal and executive manage-ment in base and precious metals and in coal. He has worked in Africa, North America, Ireland and in many countries of the former Soviet Union, with companies such as Falconbridge and Noranda, and also as a consultant on World Bank, European Commission and United Nations Operations projects. He spent 10 years in the Bank of Montreal’s Mining Services Department handling risk assessment for financing of a variety of mining de-velopment projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $1 billion. Now based in Switzerland, his company advises international investors on the quality of potential mineral resource invest-ments, from rapid reviews through to due diligence.

Jeffrey M. Christian CPM Group was founded in 1986 by Jeffrey M. Christian, who was the head of commodities research at J. Aron & Company, which was acquired by Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Christian formed CPM group through a management buy-out of the com-modities research group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. at that time, with his partners to provide independent market leading re-search on the commodities markets to a variety of customers ranging from governments to investment funds worldwide. He published in 2006 the book : “ Commodities Rising : The Reality Behind the Hype And How To Really Profit in the Commodities Market ”.

Lawrence RoulstonLawrence Roulston is an expert in the identification and evalua-tion of exploration and development companies in the mining industry. He is a geologist, with engineering and business train-ing, and more than 20 years of experience in the resource in-dustry. He has generated an impressive track record for Re-source Opportunities, a subscriber-supported investment newsletter. He has launched an investment fund, the Roulston Resource Opportunities Fund, to take advantage of severely over-sold positions in high quality resource companies. The fo-cus of the fund is on companies with production and/or ad-vanced-stage exploration and development projects - compa-nies with potential for near-term recovery in value that also have potential for longer term growth. Mr. Roulston and his team are advisers to the fund. They are uniquely positioned to identify the best investment opportunities and to move quickly to seize those opportunities.

Jay TaylorJay Taylor is editor of J Taylor’s Gold, Energy & Techn Stocks newsletter. His interest in the role gold has played in U.S. mon-etary history led him to research gold and into analyzing and investing in junior gold shares. In 1981 Jay began publishing North American Gold Mining Stocks, which preceded his cur-rent newsletter. Throughout his banking career Mr. Taylor worked as a credit analyst, commercial loan officer and invest-ment banker. His most recent banking post was at ING Barings in New York in the Metals and Mining department where he was involved with analyzing and structuring mine project fi-nancings. In 1997 Jay resigned from ING Barings to devote him-self full time to researching mining & technology stocks, writing his newsletter and assisting companies in raising venture capi-tal. And, beginning in March of this year, Jay has become a host of a web based radio show titled Turning Hard Times into Good Times. (www.JTaylorMedia.com). Guests on Jay’s show have included Presidential candidate, Congressman Ron Paul, Marc Faber, Frank Holmes, Ian Gordon, James Turk and more.
