It’s hard to believe that it has been 15 years since we first started this sale. Over the years the cattle have changed, both in frame and in breed as customer demand has changed. The only things that have stayed con-stant throughout the years are our focus on our customers as well as the females we have offered. Ever since the first meeting we had with Denny Benoodt to discuss the idea of having this sale, we believed that in order to stay in business you must offer your customer cattle in a manner in which you would like to purchase them. This belief is what the Foundation Female Sale has and always will be about. 2011 has brought about unparalleled enthusiasm in the cattle industry with the nations cow herd being at a historic low, and demand staying strong. From the Commercial sector to the Show Industry, cattle prices are as high as ever and show no signs of letting up in the years to come. It has been said that the only way to make money in the cattle industry is to own cattle, and this statement has never been truer than it is right now. The 15th Annual Foundation Female Sale will feature a unique opportunity to purchase two Denver Champion females in the prime of their lives, Lots 50 & 51. This pair of females represent some of the freshest and most in demand bloodlines the Simmental business has to offer. Another sale feature is the Herd Reduction Dispersal of Double R Farms, Derek Rapp has been a long time consignor to this sale and has been responsible for more show winning females than any other current consignor. The standout female in this dispersal is Lot 137, R&C Miss Lamborgini, who is one of the most consistent half-blood Maine Anjou females in the country. The 2011 offering includes a diverse set of cattle that can be appreciated in all segments of the cattle industry. The 3rd Annual Rare Semen & Embry Auction will feature the opportunity to flush the high selling lot in the 2010 Foundation Female Sale, PCC Queens Valentine. Over the past 3 years we have strived to put together a diverse set of genetics that can be appreciated by Simmental, Angus, Club Calf, & Maine Anjou enthusiasts. Regardless of the type of cattle you desire we hope that we have found a genetic opportunity that will fit in your unique breeding program. We hope that as you scan the pages of this sale catalog you notice how unique and stout this offering of cattle and genetics are. The cattle and genetics found in this sale book derive from 50 different operations, Bob & I have driven the miles to find this set so that you can simply come to “One Location, on One Weekend, for Two Great Sales”. Please make plans to come early to the sale so that you will have plenty of time to view the cattle being offered. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the sale managers, sale consultants, or our consignors at anytime. We will be more than happy to help you out in finding the correct lot for your unique operation. Please note we have pushed back the start time of our sale, we will now start the sale at 12:00 pm Central Time, we have also enlisted the help of LiveAuctions.tv to broadcast the sale online. Once again thank you for your support and consideration of this year’s Foundation Female Sale lineup. We look forward to seeing you on Labor Day weekend.

Thank you for the past 15 years of support,

Bob Dwyer 309-337-1404 Nick Dwyer 309-337-6404 Email [email protected]

If you want to bank some great embryos, here’s your chance. Elle was named Champion Angus many times in Iowa for the Core family. To put it simply, she was a standout that couldn’t be missed. Not only was she a great show heifer, her first calf, sired by Dream On was sold in this sale last year to Shannon Welsh. He then resold the bull for $20,000 to ABS Global. I would say the work is done here, and the only thing you need to make sure of is that you own these embryos. Guarantee 1 pregnancy if embryo work is done by a licensed embryologist.

An extremely unique female from many aspects. 6250 is a female that is extremely powerful in terms of her bone structure, hip size, and natural width. However, she is quite possibly one of the most maternal looking females we have ever produced as she is ultra smooth and sound about that front end and extremely large middled. Mated SVF Steel Force this half blood calf she is carrying is one that is certain to pay some bills. 6250 has been used exten-sively in our ET program and has been successfully flushed several times averaging 11.5 eggs per flush.

Miss Lamborgini is being offered with substantial reluc-tance. It’s been said that there are just a few cash cows in a man’s herd that consistantly make him profitable; the 5S donor epitomiz-es that statement. In just her first 4 calves, 3 natural and 1 ET, she generated a return of just shy of $20,000 in revenue. With that said, Lambo averaged 9.3 embryos on 3 flushes with a high of 17. This elite female had a successful show career and has had continued fortune while in production. Her length of spine, heavy substance of bone, depth of rib, and overall ultra powerful makeup place her in the upper percentile of females. Due the first week of October to Who Made Who. Selling half possession and embryo interest with the option to double your bid and own her all. Selling along with this standout female is a package of embryos by Monopoly. This heifer has what many call the “IT” factor. From the time she was born, we knew she had a bright future ahead of her. Her mother is one of our best young donors, if you read thru her pedigree you will see that is not by accident. She was bought to produce great offspring, and certainly hasn’t disappointed with her first heifer calf. Whether in the showring or in your pasture down the road, Miss Prairie Fire will be a standout. Check her out sale day and buy with confidence.
