The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph – December 30, 2018
Feast Of Mary, Mother of God
Holy Day of Obligation
Tuesday January, 1, 2019
9 AM Mass
In Appreciation… Our parishioners, their family, friends and visitors were able to enjoy a blessed and beau-tiful Christmas mass last week due to the many volun-teers and staff members who
worked diligently and joyfully to make our Church environment inviting and meaningful. The musicians, choirs, liturgy and environ-ment teams spent countless hours in prepara-tion for our special Christmas season. Many of our parishioners donated toward the cost of decorations, flowers and Christmas trees. Thank you to all who were involved in making our Christmas season environment, masses and events as special as they were. It is truly recognized and appreciated.
The Parish Office will be closed on
Monday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 1st in observance of the New Year holiday.

New Year’s Prayer
God, thank you for a new year. May everyone in our family be willing
to begin anew with a clean slate. We know that you are always
ready to forgive us. Help us to be willing to forgive
ourselves and to forgive one another.
As we begin a new year, remind us of our truest values
and our deepest desires. Help us to live in the goodness that comes
from doing what you want us to do. Help us to put aside anxiety about
the future and the past, so that we might live in peace with you now,
one day at a time.

Your contribu-tions made a difference, and we not only hit our goal but created something amazing. We raised $1,154 for our Religious Education and Confirmation programs; it will support some of our families with their tuition and will also make it possible for our Confirmation re-treat in the mountains. SAFEGUARD THE CHILDREN Always keep your blind spots in mind
Each week, more than 50 children are killed or injured when a driver backs up the car. In an overwhelming number of those cases, a parent, relative, or close friend is behind the wheel. It’s devastating to think that a simple action could cause such harm to your child, but it happens far too frequently. Be aware of your ‘blind spots’ when you’re behind the wheel — those areas you know are there, but can’t see clearly from your mirrors. Check out what’s happening around your vehicle before you get in. Make sure you know where your children are before you start your car.
