Overall program objectives: This course is designed for Family Physicians, Specialists, and Allied Health Care professionals. The aim is to provide evidence-based material as well as practical and relevant clinical pearls that will be easy to implement into one’s medical practice. Conference attendees will be invited to complete a pre-course Needs Assessment to facilitate the faculty with the development of their presentations.

ACCREDITATION: This Group Learning Program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 18.00 MAINPRO+ credits. This event meets the criteria as an Accredited Group Learning Activity Section 1, Maintenance of Certification (MOC), of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for 18.00 hours. Members of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) are eligible to receive up to 18.00 prescribed hours for attendance at this event due to a reciprocal agreement with the CFPC. Bamberg—Sail through this morning; after lunch, visit Bamberg, with its medieval city center. Your walking tour includes a visit to the magnificent 11th-century cathedral, and the very picturesque ‘Altes Rathaus’ (old city hall) built on a tiny island in the middle of a river. Nuremberg—This morning tour visits the medieval fortification, gothic churches, and the famous Kaiserberg. Relax this afternoon as we sail. Regensberg—After lunch, tour this preserved medieval city with structures dating back to Roman times. Discover 13th- and 14th-century patrician houses and see St. Peter’s Cathedral.
