This means that you record all of the input parameters for a certain installation scenario in a inifile.xml file, that you can then reuse for further installations. This SAP Note describes the additional steps you have to perform for an installation in unattended mode beyond the "standard" installation procedure that is described in the Diagnostics Agent Setup Guide. The Windows and Unix/IBM-i inifile.xml files were restructured to improve readability and maintainability. The files are now mostly identical. In the Windows version the Unix/IBM-i parts are in comments. In the Unix/IBM-i version, the Windows parts are in comments. The inifile.xml files are now bundled in one zip file (for SWPM 1.0 SP: SWPM10SP5_inifiles.zip). Reason and Prerequisites

The purpose of this note is to describe how to install a Solution Manager Diagnostics Agent on a customer system landscape in unattended mode. This means that you record all of the input parameters for a certain installation scenario in a inifile.xml file, that you can then reuse for further installations. 2014-May-23: SWPM10SP5_Diag_Agent_Unattended.pdf (version 5.1) has been modified to reflect Agents On-the-fly aspects.
