Completing Practical Skills (20%)
Silver Star Cadets will complete the Field Training Exercise at Blackdown Cadet Training Centre. Activities will include range training (Lee-Enfield .22), abseil training, field first aid, confidence course and team building games.

The Short Essay (10%)
The short essay is a tool for junior leaders to examine the principles of leadership demonstrated in action.
Topic: “Identify how the ten principles of leadership are exemplified by the main character in the film, “We Were Soldiers,” or “Band of Brothers - Crossroads.”
Length: 750 – 1000 words If you miss the presentation, this film is rentable at your
local video shop.
