Transcript of 1415 | AIESEC NZ | Ambassadorship programme information package
What is it?
The Ambassadorship programme is a combined
CEED (Cultural Envoy for Exchange
Development) + GCDP opportunity for members
of AIESEC NZ.
As an Ambassador you will experience a GCDP (6-12 weeks) abroad, while you are also
engaged in a local AIESEC entity. This means
you get to do improve AIESEC in another entity
and bring back new things you learned.
“I strongly recommend an AIESEC New Zealand Ambassadorship because the people and experiences you encounter will be the absolute highlight of your
AIESEC experience and probably your time at University”.
ALEX BEATSON, AIESEC Canterbury LCP 12|13
What do previous
Ambassadors have to
say?
“What a crazy and exciting adventure I went on to Brazil. It was such a unique and incredible experience that has taught me so much more
about myself, my culture, Brazil’s culture and AIESEC.” Jess Bing, AIESEC Victoria LCVP 12|13
I believe I just wrote one of the most beautiful chapters of my life. I spent 3 months of my summer holidays on a AIESEC Ambassadorship in Jaipur India.
The most important lesson I have learnt and that has changed my life would be "Happiness isn't about getting what you want all the time. It's about loving what you have and being grateful for it!“ Shivagni Kumar, AIESEC Waikato
LCVP 13|14
Features
Programme fee is $500
This fee includes:
- GCDP exchange fee
- Organised CEED
- Ambassadorship Prep weekend
(October)
Does not include travel cost of any kind.
All Ambassadors will be managed by the
NST Ambassadorship
I would recommend this program
because it will teach you so much about AIESEC, you will get so much more from working with AIESECers as well than you would doing just an exchange. You make friends who become like family among the AIESECers.
Sinead Logan, AIESEC Otago LCP 13|14

Still not convinced?
“This is us in Sapa. We had spent over a month together
eating, sleeping and making general mischief whilst
working on our project, This photo was towards the end
of our journey when we decided to do one last trip
together by ourselves. Looking back, this captures what
AIESEC is all about; people from different countries
coming together to make a positive impact in places
most of us have never been to, have never seen, have
never experienced with people we've never met
before. We may never meet again, but we will always
remember the times. This is peace and fulfillment
towards humankind's potential.”
Dinesh Kumar, AIESEC Auckland TL 13|14
