EPSF 9th Annual Symposium 28th to 30th of April, 2010 - Hosted by EPSF - NUB
Im sure we are great leaders!
Also Im certain we are great pharmacists!
But are we best leaders in pharmacy practice?!!!
Every year, Pharmacy students from all over Egypt gather to share each other unforgettable moments spent
in learning, working and having fun... And this years theme was Leadership in pharmacy practice.
The second day, 29th of April:
Another two sessions were given to expand our vision toward the pharmacy career:
1. Is Pharmacotherapy a well known thing for you?
So you must have attended Role of pharmacists in effective, safe Pharmacotherapy by Dr. Basim Anwar
Shehata.
2. Before, we did Clinical Skills event because of our great care toward those skills and to complete this
pathway, Interpersonal communication in Clinical pharmacy was given by Dr. Helal Hassan.
1. Are you tired of paying too much money in every thing? But the
drug is certainly worth it, thats why we took
Pharmacoeconomics in formulary management by Dr.
Mohamed Hassan.
2. Attention: Please practice Pharmacy in a good way, that was
the call for Dr. Khaled Mohamed in the session entitled Good
Pharmacy Education practice
There is a saying If you drink from the water of the Nile, You will
always return to it!
Thats why we made sure that our outing in the night will be
around our beloved Nile in the heart of Egypt at the beautiful city
of Bani Suif.
The first day, 28th of April:
After the usual registration process, an opening ceremony was held where all the attendees were welcomed
What about the scientific part?
Two sessions gave us the knowledge of a life time which was:
-
We decided to add little competition spirit into the symposium in the posters contest and it was time for evaluation, the poster competition was about Patient Counselling.
In the competition we want ideas to improve Pharmacists - Patient relationship. This could be manifested in many ways that can include the pharmacy design, the layout, over the counter drugs dispensing, counseling regarding non-pharmacological options as well as Pharmacological options, keeping patient medical records, improving communication for better understanding, patient follow up and so on.
AND THE OSCARS GOES TO LOL, I mean the winners were:
o MSA - SPSA: MSA Scientific Pharmaceutical Students
Association.
o TPSS: Tanta Pharmaceutical Scientific Society.
o EPSF - NUB: EPSF in Nahda University in Bani-Suif.
The first three winners were nominated to participate in the Poster competition in 1st EMPS in Jordan.
NOOOWWWW I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT WE LIKE TO MOVE IT
It was time to party in the campus of Nahda University and it was the end of our scientific program.
The third day, 30th of April:
Its our time to rise
Our time to shine
Our time to be inside the sky!
And that was by attending the Presidential session given by EPSF President Mr. Eslam Sayed, approving
different minutes and discussing work issues between the different Scientific Associations in the 19th General
Assembly which took place in the Conventional Centre in pride of the Nile Bani-Suif city.
