As we approach our 25th year of operation, we can’t help but be amazed at how far the Lord has carried us. What started out as one international aid project in a class at Lipscomb University, has turned into a multifaceted organization that is addressing physical needs of people all over the world. Our intention from the beginning has been to use these relief and development projects to open the doors for the good news of Jesus Christ. This year, as we have grown and expanded our reach, we have asked ourselves the question, “How can we be most effective in reaching the developing world for Christ?” We think the answer lies in reaching outside of ourselves to our volunteers, supporters, and partnering organizations, seeking out strengths where we are weak, and talents where we are lacking. Engaging in resource sharing relationships like these gives us opportunities to practice being unified with the body of Christ–working together to expand the borders of his kingdom. 1 Peter 4:10 has been a bit of a theme verse for us this year. “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” When we each use the gifts we have been given much work can be accomplished. Whatever YOUR gift in 2014, whether it was gathering a Dorcas:Sewing for Jesus group in your church, organizing a Walk4Water in your community, putting together a M.A.G.I. box, or making a donation, we thank you for putting it to use at Healing Hands International. Because of your partnership in 2014: • The Water program drilled over 100 wells–more than we have ever drilled in a year’s time.• The Agriculture program held its first ever Agriculture workshop in the Congo. • The Education program has trained over 60 teachers. • The Women Worth A Million program began partnering with a new women’s group in Tanzania. • The M.A.G.I. program had another record breaking year, impacting children in 6 nations. • The Disaster Relief program sent aid donations to the war affected nation of South Sudan. • The Medical program was able to send medical supplies to Ebola affected areas in Liberia. Our Gifts For His Glory

SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE In 2014, we hosted 81 workshops in ten different countries. We trained 3,953 people in sustainable agriculture methods, empowering them to feed themselves and their families. We were very excited to present our first workshop in the Congo, and work with our first ever agriculture interns who spent the summer in Honduras. We continued our partnerships, training students with Nairobi Great Commission School, Made in the Streets, and the Institute for Practical Christian Ministry. We look forward to expanding this ministry to Central America and Southern Africa in 2015.

FINANCIALS The total income for 2014 was $3,887,252. Expenses totaled $4,403,665, of which $3,935,725* (89%) was for programs and reserves, $281,215 (7%) on administrative costs, and $186,725 (4%) on fundraising costs. Healing Hands recognizes that all resources are entrusted to us by God and therefore, we seek to be excellent stewards. CLEAN WATER PROJECTS By the grace of God, we’ve been able to drill 119 clean water wells and repair 23 in 2014, opening the door to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We completed our 639th water well this year. We hosted 31 Walk4Water events with a total of 3,581 walkers, raising the necessary funds for these wells. We were also able to provide Sawyer water filters where successful water wells could not be drilled.

WOMEN WORTH A MILLIONIn 2014, we hosted two more Christian Business Women’s conferences in India and Mozambique. We conducted 21 Hope parties in the United States, telling the story of Women Worth A Million to 597 women at conferences, Ladies’ Days, and homes. We began partnering with a new women’s group in Mtwara, Tanzania. Women in each of the five countries in which we work were able to clothe, feed, and send their children to school, repair their houses, and save for their future.Even more importantly, these women are learning the importance Christianity plays in all aspects of life.

EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT Through 18 American teachers, five trips, five schools, and two seminars we have been able to serve 65 teachers in Haiti this year. We sent $3500 worth of books to Haitian schools, as well as school supplies for teachers and students. This year, the Education program focused on sharing effective methods of teaching science with Haitian teachers, along with our prior emphasis on literacy training. Teachers in the United States are assisting the teachers in Haiti through our Teachers Serving Teachers workshop held each June.

THE M.A.G.I . PROJECT We packed and sent a total of 26,378 M.A.G.I. boxes this year, making a godly impact in 6 different nations:Botswana, Honduras, Mexico, Romania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. We also celebrated 10 years of taking groups to deliver M.A.G.I. boxes in Honduras with our sister organization, Mission Lazarus.

DISASTER RELIEF War and famine continued to ravage the world’s youngest country, South Sudan, in 2014. HHI responded with food, water, and ongoing supplies. Progress was also made this year in the Philippines where wecontinued rebuilding houses, providing boats for fishermen trying to rebuild their livelihoods, and funding the rebuilding of schools.

MEDICAL AID Our largest medical project this year was sending medical supplies to Liberia to aid in the fight against Ebola. HHI shipped a container of exam gloves, other personal protective supplies, and hygiene supplies to Liberia to assist with the outbreak. We also provided funds to more than 25 churches and orphanages to purchase locally available food and supplies such as hand washing buckets, rice, vegetable oil, soap, sanitizer and bleach. In 2014, we sent medical aid to Belize, Cambodia, China, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru, Romania,Tanzania, and Zambia.

SHIPPING In 2014, we were able to send 22 containers of relief supplies, missionary belongings, well drilling equipment, and M.A.G.I. boxes to Chad, Haiti, Honduras, Liberia, Madagascar, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. To date, we’ve shipped 556 containers to 73 countries, with an estimated value of $125,000,000.

OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER: • Pray for the work going on through Healing Hands International. We covet your prayers for the wisdom needed to bless others in the way that God calls us. Please especially remember the members of our team who work in foreign countries. • Host a Walk4Water at your church, school, or workplace. This is a four mile walk to raise money for our clean water projects. • Join the Hunger Fighting Team. Join over 60 people in committing to give monthly to the fight against hunger worldwide. • Attend Teachers Serving Teachers to create resources for Haitian Teachers to use in their classrooms. • Host a Hope Party in your home or church and tell all your friends about the Women Worth A Million program.• Participate in the M.A.G.I. project. This project brightens the lives of children in developing countries by sending boxes of gifts. • Plan to attend the Women of Hope conference on March 4-5, 2016 at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN. • Plan to attend our Dorcas:Sewing for Jesus workshop on May 6, 7, & 8, 2015, at the Nashville office and May 8 & 9, 2015 at the Carrollton office to learn about and practice different sewing projects that are impacting people who need them around the world!
