IntroductionWhen ordering service parts, specify the correct partnumber, full description, quantity required, the unitmodel number and serial number.

The Spreader model and serial numbers are on a platelocated on the front, left corner of the tank. “Right” and“left” are determined from a position standing behindthe Spreader and facing in the direction of travel. Fromthis position, the expeller is on the “right” side.

Gehl Company reserves the right to make changes orimprovements in the design or construction of any partof the unit without incurring the obligation to installsuch changes on any previously delivered units.

NOTE: On original tire replacement, Companypolicy prohibits the sale of replacement tires for allGehl machinery. Replacement wheel sets areavailable and tire size information is called out withthe wheel sets to facilitate replacement tire selec-tion. ALL REPLACEMENT TIRES MUST BEPURCHASED LOCALLY.

DECAL LOCATIONS

GENERAL INFORMATIONDecal locations information is provided to assist in theproper selection and application of new decals, in theevent the original decals become damaged or themachine is repainted. Refer to the listing for theillustration reference number, part number, descriptionand quantity of each decal provided in the kit. Refer tothe appropriate illustrations for replacement locations.

NOTE: Refer to the SAFETY Chapter forinformation on the safety decals in the decal kit.

To ensure proper selection for correct replacementdecals, compare all of the various close-up locationphotographs to your machine BEFORE starting torefinish the unit. Then circle each pictured decal(applicable to your machine) while checking off its partnumber in the listing. After you have verified all thedecals needed for replacement, set aside unneededdecals for disposal. The decal kit number for safetydecals in the French language is 174812.

NEW DECAL APPLICATIONSurfaces MUST be free from dirt, dust, grease and otherforeign material before applying the new decal. Toapply a solid-formed decal, remove the smaller portionof the decal backing paper and apply this part of theexposed adhesive backing to the clean surface whilemaintaining proper position and alignment. Slowly peeloff the other portion of the backing paper while applyinghand pressure to smooth out the decal surface.

WARNINGALWAYS observe safety precautions shownon decals. If decals become damaged, or if theunit is repainted, replace the decals. Ifrepainting, BE SURE that ALL decals from thekits that apply to your machine are affixed toyour unit.
