Wheelchair Access indicates access for individuals with limited mobility, including wheelchair users.

All festival venues have full wheelchair access with the exception of St Peter’s Cathedral.

Power Wheel Chair Battery Charging Points

Wheelchair recharge stations are available at Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden. Staff and volunteers on site will be more than happy to help you if you require assistance.

Audio Described Events

An Audio Describer delivers a live commentary via a personal headset providing information on the visual elements of a performance as it unfolds.

Please request headsets when booking to ensure availability.

Headsets can be collected in foyers of each venue near box office – from one hour prior to show time.

Is a guided and/or tactile tour prior to a live performance, visual art or museum exhibitions.

The touch tour is an opportunity for you to explore the set, handle some props and receive an introduction from representative(s) of the company.

Touch tours are free and take place 60 minutes before the performance.

The Adelaide Writers’ Week information booth is located at the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden.

Available resources include:

USB drives containing audio versions of the list of authors and information on the availability of their books in alternative formats.

Additionally, Braille Adelaide Writers’ Week programs and a tactile map of the Writers’ Week site will be available at the information booth.
