In its 2016 edition, IDEM drew a record number of 8,173 trade visitors, of which 1,994 were conference delegates, from across 83 countries. A sizeable proportion was dental professionals, dentists, traders and manufacturers or dental hygienists and therapists. More than half revealed that they possess either significant influence on the purchasing outcome or are the decision-makers. Survey results were also markedly positive, with 86% of visitors rating their overall success at IDEM 2016 as either good or very good; 93% of these attendees have even disclosed their intentions to return for IDEM 2018.
Evidently, IDEM is the indisputable trade event for the business of dentistry; deals were generated or implanted and long-term relationships are being cultivated. In fact, over 50% of exhibitors met the right buyers and have successfully closed deals or are in the process of negotiations for deals made during IDEM 2016.
