January 1, 2013 12 RADICAL RULES FOR SUCCESS BY SCOTT ROBERT LIM START CREATING MASSIVE SUCCESS BY APPLYING THESE 12 LIFE PRINCIPLES As we plan our new goals for 2013, I’d like to suggest a few philosophies and ideas that I have lived by. I hope these words will energize and renew your hopes and dreams for the new year. 1. Be Unrealistic- create, strive and design a life so extraordinary it would take a miracle to accomplish it- this takes guts, risk and faith. Creating a full time artistic career is nearly impossible- think of all the doctors and lawyers you know versus how many full time artists. 2. The term "you have to want it" means not accepting any excuses, roadblocks or lack of resources to get what you want. Think long term and what you can accomplish in 5 years not ju st one or two. Success patterns show “overnight success” often takes a decade or two of hard work. Define t he word “sacrifice” in new ways with renewed effort. Ideas That Work

As we plan our new goals
for 2013, I’d like to suggest a
few philosophies and ideas
that I have lived by. I hope
these words will energize and
renew your hopes and dreams
for the new year.
1. Be Unrealistic- create,strive and design a life so

3. Be a leader-people follow those who excel, innovateand make smart choices.
Sometimes the only way to
learn is to grow from our
mistakes. Leaders are not
afraid to try new ideas. It
takes guts to try something
new but our success hinges onshowing the world our unique
qualities. Every mistake
makes the next idea stronger.
4. Resist the sirens of security. The world
programs people to believe
that providing for your family
and oneself is the end all-
though honorable it preys on
our lust for security. Your
dream to impact the world
involves risk and huge
sacrifices from time to time.
5. Choose the six most profitable and pleasurableaspects of your business and
do them tirelessly . Focus
creates good business- it
defines the essence of who we
are. 12 hour days are the
norm not the exception.
Gravitate to those things that
make you happy and are
highly profitable.
6. Build your miracle club. Achievers hang out with
achievers. Find a healthy
community with similar goals
and aspirations. Meet often.
Be addicted to beauty &style. Let beauty reflect in all
that you do from the style of
your website to the way you
dress. Beauty creates
advantages and we need
EVERY break we can get.
Everyone can look beautiful.
8. Believe greatness is your destiny. There are so many
disappointments in life, we
need faith to carry us through
the rough times and there will
be many. Know that your life was intended for significance.
9. Be a Hero- an underdog
with a calling, don't be afraid
of inadequate resources, be
passionate and relentless. If
there is a will there is
ALWAYS a way. What do you
want to do with your life?
10. Stay in the Game.Sometimes the ability to stay
in business another year,
month, week, or day is a great
accomplishment. It can take
five or more years to develop
a good business- I needed 15.
11. Desire to serve others in
a grand way. No one follows a
self centered person. Good
business is based on how well
we can serve others.
12. Learn to add value.
When meeting someone of
great influence that can help
us, our first thoughts should
be how we can add value to
this person. This is the best
way to open doors of
opportunity. Everyone needs
a friend and ally.
These rules have served me well
over the years and I wish I had
known about them early in my
career. I hope they add to your
success in the new year!
