life of the Kazakh people, customs and

culture. The tour program includes:

showing main national traditions, a

proceeding with a master class on

making national cakes with a serving of

horse milk.

• Falcon Show – a place where people

train hawks, eagles, golden eagles to

hunt together with them. Your guide will

explain the amazing traditions of Kazakh

hunting with hawks. You will have a

chance to take photos of these birds and

to find out many interesting facts about

at 1,691 metres above sea level, making it

the highest skating rink in the world.

• Central State Museum - one of the

biggest museums in Central Asia

showcasing paleontological and

archaeological collections, and artefacts

of traditional Kazakh culture and history.

• Kok-Tobe Mountain with Cable Car Ride to enjoy a panoramic view of Almaty.

• The Independence Monument is located

on Republic Square, one of Almaty’s

main squares. This architectural landmark

was masterminded by a group of Kazakh

architects under the leadership of Shota

Valihanov.

dedicated to the 28 soldiers of an Almaty

infantry unit who died fighting Nazi

German invaders outside of Moscow in

World War II.
