• Cancellation of whole groups can be done free of charge up to

four weeks before arrival .

• For the cancellation of groups or deregistration of participants

four weeks before arrival, the difference is invoiced up to the

confirmed number of participants and group price with 50% .

• Cancellation of groups or of participants less than one week

before arrival is invoiced with 75% of the confirmed group

price .

• Cancellation of whole groups or parts of groups must be done

in writing .

• Cancellation of whole groups can be done free of charge up to

14 days before arrival .

The hotel’s new terrace area with outdoor

serving invites a quiet moment with the

S U G G E S T I O N S F O R E X C U R S I O N S

Thisted is located in a scenic area between

Limfjorden and the North Sea . From here,

there is not far to Thy National Park which

offers an abundance of hiking paths

through heaths and dune plantations .

Take a trip to the cosy fishing town, Klit-

møller, which is also a popular place for

surfers . Your excursion could also go to the

area’s larger attrac-tions: Jesperhus Flower

Park on Mors, the North Sea Oceanarium

in Hirtshals or Museumscenter Hanstholm .

It is also a good idea to visit the world’s

most powerful wind turbine at the Nation-

al Test Centre for Large Wind Turbines in

Hotel Søparken is located in Aabybro in

beautiful Vendsyssel . The hotel has 50

bright rooms - primarily double rooms -

the bubbling landscape and the cut iron

ball . The work of art is created by sculp-

tor, Kurt Tegtmeier and is called Nordst-

jernen (North Star) because through the

inserted pipe in the ball, you can look up

to the North Star . When staying at Hotel

and the North Sea or Svinkløv Plantage,

Welcome to Hotel Ringkøbing, which con-

sists of 59 rooms all with modern facili-

ties . Some of the rooms are located in our

annex . Hotel Ringkøbing was constructed

in the 17th century approximately, and

is the town’s oldest building except for

the church . For many years, the building

was the town’s largest merchant’s house .

Through all of the 18th century and up

to 1805, the building was occupied by

changing county administrators who had

large grain storehouses in the courtyard .

Since 1833, it has been an inn and hotel,

which makes Hotel Ringkøbing one of the

country’s oldest hotels .


The Ringkøbing-Skjern Museums conduct

guided tours with various themes around

the town . It is also really pleasant to take

a walk around with the watchmen in the

evening in the summer months . The town

house has free exhibitions on a regular ba-

sis and from here you can also enjoy the

view across Ringkøbing Fjord . A round trip

around Ringkøbing Fjord can be warmly

recommended . On the round trip you will

go through Søndervig, Hvide Sande, Ny-

mindegab, Bork Harbour, past Hestholm

Lake with wheelchair friendly bird tower,

Skjern and Lem . For those interested in

gardens, just outside of Ringkøbing on the

way to Herning, you will find Laubjerg’s

Garden Centre and Rose Garden with

many different kinds of English roses as

well as Enemærket’s Hosta Garden, which

old buildings and pleasant streets . At the

eastern outskirts of Ringkøbing is Laub-

There is a nice maritime atmosphere at

Hotel Marina in Grenaa . The hotel is lo-

cated on the coastal road close to Grenaa

Harbour and with a direct view across the

Kattegat and within walking distance to

one of Denmark’s best bathing beaches .
