2. Pyramid = Polyhedron with 1 base and that meets at a single, top point.

Surface Area of a Pyramid

1.)  Base Area (BA) = Area of the 1 base

2.)  Lateral Area (LA) = Area of all the faces sides not including the 1 base (triangles).

3.)  Total Area (TA) = Base Area + Lateral Area
