Thirty-nine years of local, national and international teaching in neuroscience, neurology, toxicology and global health at a large number of academic institutions, including several Chinese universities. Teaching directed to students in the health professions, graduate students and health professionals. Current teaching Global Health in Changing Environments (2-credit elective). Course creator, principal teacher and director. Nine-week class offered to all health professions students at Oregon Health & Science University. Course examines the forces that shape the health of populations around the world. Professionals Training in Global Health (71.25 American Medical Association Category 1 credits). Course lecturer. Bi-weekly, one-semester class for late-career medical and nursing professionals to equip them for international service. Interdisciplinary Community Health and Education Exchange. (2 credit elective) Course lecturer. Dental, medical, nursing and pharmacy students exchange health-related information with refugees, recent immigrants and homeless. Global Health Epidemiology (3 credits). Course lecturer. Offered to all MPH students during the Winter Quarter.
