    1.1 1200 SUPER S OVERVIEW

    GENERATE MODE

In Generate Mode, the 1200 SUPER S is anRF Signal Generator with the abil i ty to test a

Receiver using internal test ing abil i t ies such

as an Oscil loscope, Distort ion Meter, SINAD

    M ete r and D V M . The 1200 SU PER S has

two internal modulation sources. There is a

modulation or a microphone can be used as a

modula t ion source . These modula t ions can

be used to modulate the RF Signal as FM or

    AM modulation types.

Generate Mode test ing that can be performed

by the 1200 SUPER S includes:

    Receiver Sensit ivi ty

    Receiver Audio Distort ion

    Receiver Audio Output Level

    Receiver IF Bandwidth
