You have within you a supply o energy limited only by yourability to discover and develop it. In body, mind and spirit, you areendowed with capabilities ar greater than you know. This potentialis intrinsic to your very being.

Jesus called these 12 powers orth. He expressed perectly hisspiritual attributesand so can you. One o Jesus last instructionsto others was, The one who believes in me will also do the worksthat I do and, in act, will do greater works than these (Jn. 14:12).

To recognize and develop these qualities, you can study andobserve them, relate to their presence in your physical body, andheighten them through prayer and practice. Consciously applying

these powers will raise your level o awareness and lie experience.As you awaken your divine endowment, you are literally callingorth the positive, powerul current o the unlimited God-ideawithin you.

In the pages that ollow, each power is explored in detailitssignicance, location in the body and the disciple associated withit. Each chapter begins with an armation to use during yourprayer time and concludes with seven steps to achieve spiritualattunement.

These are the spiritual powers within you, their central location inyour body and the disciples who represent them:

Faith is centered in the middle o the head, in the area othe pineal gland. Faith is represented by the disciple SimonPeter.

Strength , closely allied with the activity o the adrenalglands, is located in the small o the back. Its disciple isAndrew.

Wisdom is centered in the pit o the stomach and is closelyallied to the unction o the pancreas. Its disciple is James,the son o Zebedee.

Love emanates rom its center at the back o the heart. Itsdisciple is John, the son o Zebedee. Since James and Johnare brothers, the centers o love and wisdom (the heart andthe stomach) are closely related, and the two powers havetheir meeting place at the solar plexus.

Power is centered in the throat, at the root o the tongue. Itis represented by the disciple Philip.

Imagination springs rom a point between the eyes thatis closely related to the pituitary gland. The disciple whorepresents imagination is Bartholomew, also reerred to asNathanael.

Understanding emanates rom the center ront o the brain.Thomas, the disciple who liked to ask questions, represents

understanding.Will is located just below understanding in the center ronto the brain. Matthew, the tax collector, represents will.

Order is centered just behind the navel. The aculty o orderworks through the organs o digestion. James, the son oAlphaeus, is the disciple who represents order.

Zeal , or enthusiasm, stems rom the medulla oblongataat the base o the brain in the back o the head. It is

represented by Simon the Canaanite, the zealot in Jesusgroup o 12.

Elimination comes rom a nerve center at the base o thespinal column and is closely allied with the organs oelimination. It is represented by Thaddeus.

Life is the 12th power and is headquartered in the

generative organs. The disciple Judas represents lie.

Awaken Your Faith Faculty

O all the aculties, the one Jesus spoke o most requentlywas aith. Faith enables you to look past appearances o lack,limitation or diculty. With aith, you can take hold o a divineidea and believe in it even though you do not yet see any physical

evidence o it. Faith goes beyond thinking to knowing with oneswhole being the Truth o the unseen good.

The location o the aith center is signicant. It is in the centero the head, between the ears and the eyes. When you put youraith in that which you see with your eyes or hear with your ears,you are using the aculty in a limited way and the results are alsolimited.

Peterunwavering, unchangeable Peterwho always wantedto believe, is the disciple who represents aith. As this disciplegrew in his ability to believe, he became more receptive to innerguidance and direction.

In developing the quality o aith, one must start as Peter did, bybeing receptive to Truth ideas and letting them grow until you eel

your absolute oneness with the quality o aithso that you nolonger think in terms o having aith, but express it automatically,as Jesus did.

Here are the steps or developing aith:

1. ReceptivityStart to develop your aith aculty by listening, learning,growing in understanding o spiritual truths and beingreceptive to God-ideas.

2. AssentAssent by going beyond receptivity, till you are willingto agree with the spiritual truths or urther, deeperinvestigation.

3. BeliefBelie is the mental acknowledgement o Truth thatis an outgrowth o the rst two steps. It is an ability tobelieve intellectually, i not yet with the whole soul, inthe goodness o God.

4. TrustThis is the step rom intellectual acceptance o Truthideas to the spiritual realization o them. Deepen your

trust and reinorce it with understanding until you havea aith that is the basis or action.

5. FaithTurn your attention to the pattern or perection thatis the Christ. Believe in this divine potential with anunderstanding that inspires you to action.

6. Conviction

When you have conquered all doubts, ears and eventhe temptation to judge by your senses, you reacha point o spiritual conviction.

7. RealizationAt the point o realization, you no longer have aith. You

are the Christ expression o aith.

Faith is the rst o your God-given powers. Encourage it. Let itgrow in you. God is blessing you now with aith!

Develop Your Strength

In the physical realm, strength is vitality and endurance. In themental realm, strength is the quality o mind which enables oneto lead, to accomplish, and to hold rm to spiritual principles indaily living.

Strength is closely allied with aith. In the symbology o the 12disciples and the 12 qualities o mind that Jesus encouragedand developed in his closest ollowers, strength and aith arerepresented by the brothers Andrew and Peter.

The two brothers must grow together, both under the lovingdirection o ones own Christ nature. Faith must continually bestrengthened, and strength must be inspired to right action byaith.

The center o strength is in the small o the back. Place yourattention here as you hold to aith in God as your strength. Theganglionic center that represents strength is closely allied with theadrenals, the glands which are sometimes reerred to as the ghtso the body.

Strength is consciously awakened rst in the intellectual natureand then developed (through prayerul concentration on theidea) to be a spiritual realization o oneness with the Source o allstrength. The result is a continuous, limitless supply o strength.

These are the steps or developing strength:

Nonresistance1.

Resistance is the greatest thet o strength. Anger, ear,argument and other orms o resistance are emotions thatleave one eeling depleted and weak.

StrengthI have the strength to accomplish all that is mine

to do.

Relaxation2.

Speak to the various parts o your body and tell them torelax. Speak to your mind and tell it (in a relaxed way) torelease tense thoughts and attitudes.

Infilling3.

Open yoursel to God or the infow o strength as aspiritual git. This is not straining to receive, but ratheropening to vital lie through your whole being.

Direction4.

Good management is important. Guide the strength youare receiving rom God into channels o good.

Incorporation5.

Jesus incorporated ideas o strength into his mind andbody and built an ability to cope with lie above andbeyond anything we normally see. And Jesus said,Follow me.

Strength6.

Ater you have learned to receive strength rom God,

you will nd it easy to stand rm in your purpose anddirection.

Supreme Strength7.

The supreme idea o strength is so incorporated into yourwhole being that it fows through you as the perect abilityto receive and use strength rom God to ll every need.

Let strength grow in conjunction with aith, always under theguidance o your own spiritual nature, the Christ within.

Let the Light of Wisdom Shine

One o the aculties most prized by Jesus was the git o wisdom,or spiritual judgment. He acted and spoke rom the lightwithin himsel, the light that enabled him to judge by spiritualdiscernment. You, too, must learn to judge with right judgment

and to rely on inner spiritual knowing.The ganglionic center associated with wisdom is located in the pito the stomach and is closely allied with the solar plexus, the areabehind the heart and stomach sometimes reerred to as the bodybrain.

Wisdom, or judgment, is represented by James, the son oZebedee.

The three disciples who were with Jesus on particularly signicantoccasions in his lie were Peter, representing aith, and thebrothers James and John, standing or wisdom and love. Faith,wisdom and love are three essential, interconnected powers.

The purpose in developing wisdom is to let the light o Spiritshine through you, directing all your thoughts, words, actions and

motivations. These are the steps:

Unlearning1.

Clear your mind o all ideas o lack and limitation, ear,intolerance and diculty. Spirit within knows whateveryou need to know. This channel is opened as you retrainyour thinking and move into spiritual intuitiontheimmediate receiving o whatever knowledge you need atthe time.

WisdomI am guided by divine wisdom in every thought,

word and action

Learning2.

Nature abhors a vacuum. Replace the old concepts you areunlearning with new spiritual truths. Reject the thoughtsthat do not belong in your spiritual nature and lay hold otruths which will open you to another way o thinking. Itis not enough to release; you must also rell.

Acknowledgment3.

Acknowledgment means mentally accepting what youhave learned. As you grow in the development o thisaculty, you will come to see only the Christ in others.

Reason4.

Reason is the bridge to wisdom, because it leads you into

a higher, expanded eld o knowledge. New conceptscome rom contemplation and logical thought.

Insight5.

When you are no longer everishly seeking, you will beginto have inner sightthe awakening to a clear, white lighto spiritual knowing.

Wisdom6.Here insight becomes complete and enables you to knowimmediately and discern readilynot as the world knowsor discerns, but rom the Christ within. This is the powero wisdom and spiritual judgment as demonstrated by

Jesus.

Knowing7.

You no longer have wisdom, you are wisdom. Througha pure and perect connection with Spirit, you live in

the light. You do not have to ask and receive an answer.You know. You think and act rom the Spirit o knowingwithin.

As you concentrate on opening the way, all the knowing o Spiritpours in.

Let There Be Love

Love is. Love continues to be, just as the sun continues to shine,whether you know it is there, whether you can see it, whether youbelieve in it. Love is the inner light that enables you to see good inall persons.

The love center in the body is the heart. Just as the heart circulateslie-giving blood throughout the body, love circulates lie-givingsustenance through your thinking-eeling nature and throughoutyour body and aairs.

The two brothers, James and John, sons o Zebedee, representwisdom and love. Both qualities are essential to the production oany great idea. Wisdom and love are the two phases o God thatcombine to produce creative activity o any kind.

Love without wisdom has a tendency to be blind. Wisdomwithout love may be harsh and cold. Linked in the Mind o God,working rom pure knowing and the ultimate oneness, theyproduce perect ideas in mind and maniestation.

Without the God-directed expression o love in your lie, the

whole experience seems meaningless and utile.

The steps or developing love are:

Interest1.

You cannot love anyone or anything that does not at rstinterest you. Focus your interest on God and on ndingGod in your world. Seek out the good in all persons and

situations.

LoveI am a radiating center o love.

Acquaintance2.

When you are interested in something, you want tobecome better acquainted with it. Your increased interestwill lead to a deeper search or personal knowledge.

Affection3.

Aection is the warm eeling that grows in youanawakening, a ondness which leads you to such a goodeeling about God that you want to experience a greaterrealization o Divine Love.

Attraction4.

When you let it take over your lie and transorm you, themagnetic power o love is stronger than any orce in the

universe. You will begin to see things in a new light.

Love5.

You are now so in tune with Gods love that you areseeing good everywhere, even in appearances which seemcontrary. Love radiates, attracts, heals and harmonizes.

Identification6.

Identication is a point beyond loving God and lovinggood. It occurs when you eel yoursel one with God. Youdesire an even stronger, deeper bond, something whichwill reinorce this oneness in all things, at all times, in allways.

At-one-ment7.

One o the most beautiul prayers in the Bible is the

meditation in which Jesus revealed to the disciples hisrealization o oneness with God, with them, and with allwho were to ollow. I in them and you in me, that they

may become completely one (Jn. 17:23). In Unity, itis reerred to as the prayer o at-one-ment. These ideasunold when you reach the point where your greatestdesire is to express Gods love, to identiy with it, to be it.

As you choose to love, let it develop in conjunction with wisdom.

Continue to develop wisdom and judgment, ollowing it with thelove realization.

Open the Power Channel

Power! The very word has a magical, mystical sound. Truly, poweris a git rom God, reely given.

Power is the vital energy seated in the hollow o the throat, at theroot o the tongue. It is released by speaking positive, powerul

words o Truth. This is what Jesus meant when he said, Thewords that I have spoken to you are spirit and lie (Jn. 6:63).

When you are in tune with God, you can quickly and easilyrelease vital energy or any good purpose.

Ater the resurrection and ascension o Jesus, Philip, the disciplewho represents power, became noted or his ability to spread themessage o Truth through his speech. Philip was a sherman, andhe and the brothers Andrew and Peter, who represent strength andaith, came rom the same hometown, Bethsaida. Power is closelyallied with aith and strength. Faith is absolutely necessary or therelease o spiritual power.

Power and strength are also related and may be conused i notproperly understood. Strength is endurance, stability, stamina.

Power is the vital energy that enables one to accomplish, to ollowthrough.

Just as electrical energy is generated when you turn on a switch,you are a conductor o spiritual energy, or vital power. Openingthe infow o energy through prayer and receptivity to God, youcan then release good into the world.

Jesus went apart to pray and came back rereshed and revitalizedwith greater spiritual power. As within, so without. This is theway you develop power.

PowerI have the power to create my world.

These are the steps or developing power:

Control1.

Control begins with choice. Open the way or spiritualpower to fow by exercising controlnot over othersor over the world, but over yoursel. Determine what

you think and eel, and your aculty or awakening willprovide the vital energy.

Poise2.

By learning to control thoughts and eelings, you developpoise. Poise is controlled power, energy waiting to bereleased.

Accord3.

When you have established control and poise and are inaccord with divine ideas, you are ready or the urtherquickening o this spiritual activity.

Endowment4.

This is your rst real experience o receiving spiritualpower. It may come as a eeling o new strength and lie

and joy, or a greater ability to cope with lie and increasedenergy to do the work God has given you. This vitalenergy is not provided or personal gain, but or thegreater expression o God.

Power5.

You are now receiving a steady supply o spiritual powerand using it under God direction. You have opened the

power channel. Keep it open by taking time or rest,renewal and revitalization through regular prayer activity.

Dominion6.

You can command every situation as Jesus did byexercising dominion based rst in sel-government, alwayssubject to the guidance o Spirit within you. You are ableto declare, as Jesus did, All power is given unto me inheaven and in earth (Mt. 28:18 KJV).

Mastery7.

You are no longer separated rom poweryou are power.Power fows through you without conscious eort. Youhave attained such complete mastery that there is notemptation to return to human thinking or eeling. Youare one with power.

Power is another o the gits o God. Let it grow and let it fowthrough you as Gods clear channel o expression. You areunlimited!

See Rightly

In order to change conditions in your mind, body and aairs, youmust rst transorm the pictures you are holding in mind. Yourlie will always fow into the mold you create through your innerpicturing power. I you dont like the conditions you are attracting,

change them by building new images with your imagination.Imagination is centered in the body between the eyes, in thelocation o what is called the third eye, which enables one to seebeyond common sight.

On the spiritual level, imagination is a means by which Spiritcommunicates, conveying the innite powers and possibilities thatare yours as a child o God. You are able to release limiting thoughts

and eelings by perceiving something greater, your divine potential.Bartholomew is the disciple who represents the power oimagination. Jesus gave him the promise o the spiritualdevelopment o imagination: You shall see greater things thanthese (Jn. 1:50).

Imagination cannot be orced; it must be invited. Thinking happythoughts, expecting good and opening yoursel to God-ideas will setthe stage or harmonious, prophetic images on the screen o yourmind.

Here are the steps or developing imagination:

Cleansing1.

Erase limiting, error-lled images o the past and replacethem with positive, powerul images that you want to see

expressed in your lie.

ImaginationI envision good unolding in every area o my lie.

Consideration2.

Your imagination must be led. With your eyes closed,consider the image you want to present to the world, andrene it with your inner eye.

Discrimination3.

Sort out the ideas you want to accept and those you want toreject. Remember, what you see is what will express itsel. Sosee rightly.

Observation4.

One o the ways to keep your imagination ocused on goodis to observeto watch or the good everywhere, in everysituation. The more you pay attention to good, the more youwill express lie, love, peace and harmony.

Beholding5.

Beholding means seeing the world in the light o Truth. All istransormed as you see it with spiritual eyesight and beholdthe true picture, regardless o what appears to be.

Discernment6.

You will begin to perceive certain truths through a spiritualillumination above and beyond anything you have ever

known, in the orm o dreams or visionsor as directrevelation o Spirit.

Vision7.

Spiritual vision is the state o being so at one with the Sourcethat you see with the eyes o Spirit. You no longer need toreceive images as messages rom God. Rather, you look withperect sight, without thinking about it. You are one with

God, and you see as God sees.Development o this power will open a whole new world oexperience, because seeing rightly will set many things right in yourworld.

UnderstandingMy understanding o Truth deepens and directs

my lie.Build Something to Stand On

Understanding puts eet under your prayers and gives yourspiritual activity oundation to stand on.

Thomas Didymus is the disciple who represents the acultyo understanding. Thomas didnt always have spiritual

understanding, but he wanted to learn. He didnt mind askingquestions, and he listened to Jesus answers. Jesus gave him thetremendous teaching, I am the way, and the truth, and the lie(Jn. 14:6), pointing to the role o the inner Christ in revealing thespiritual way.

Understanding begins with questioning the old ways o thinkingthat have been taken or granted, and above all, wanting toknow the spiritual Truth. Understanding is dierent romwisdom. Wisdom knows, with the great light o pure knowing.Understanding knows why. It sees the relationship between theparts o Gods universe.

The seat o spiritual understanding is in the ront o the brain,near the center or will. Will and understanding are to be

developed together, with understanding guiding will and willinspiring understanding to action.

Letting God-ideas unold in mind will result in an illuminationo ones entire being. A new understanding o yoursel and yourrelationship to your world will result. Dont work on developingunderstanding unless you are willing to change, ready to berenewed in the spirit o your mind, and put on the new nature,

created ater the likeness o God in true righteousness andholiness (Eph. 4:23-24 RSV).

The steps in developing spiritual understanding are:

Questioning1.

Be willing to question and break through outdated wayso thinking in order to open the way or new conceptsand attitudes. The greatest prerequisite to spiritual

understanding is the sincere desire to learn and grow.Perception2.

This step represents an intellectual grasp o spiritualconcepts gained through consistent, conscientious study.You are not only inspired to learn, but also to make a realmental eort to lay hold o the truths that are presented toyou.

Deduction3.Deduction involves meditation. As you meditate, take theTruth ideas and let them unold new meanings and insight.This step on the intellectual level leads you to an awakening

beyond what is known or learned rom books and teachers.

Prophecy4.

Your understanding enables you to see the answer without

consciously thinking it through. Continue to seek the innerlight o spiritual comprehension and with it the love thaterases all tendencies to judge or condemn.

Compassion5.

On the level o compassion, understanding is tempered andgiven new depth by the activity o love. Compassion is notsympathy, which includes an identication with the wrong,

but rather a orgiving, understanding love that sees pastthe error to the Truth, without any condemnation or theexpression o limitation.

Understanding6.

Spiritual understanding enables you to see clearly in allmatters, to receive instant answers to questions, and toprovide planning and motivation or action by the will.It provides something to stand on and is translated intoright decisions that result in right relationships and right

conditions in your world.

Illumination7.

The highest development o understanding is illumination,a state o oneness in which you live in the light o clear andperectly developed spiritual understanding.

Understanding is an activity that will change not only your way o

thinking, but also your way o lie. There is a Spirit in you that hasall the answers. Trust it as you proceed in an orderly, harmonious,

loving way to unold this aculty.

Re-Educate Your Executive Faculty

Jesus overcame the human, selsh motivation o the will andallowed it to be replaced by unication with Divine will. Therewards o uniying your will with the will o God are great. Theyinclude health, happiness, joy, peace, harmony, prosperity and

more. But the spiritual development o this executive acultyrequires much time, thought and consecration.

No matter how you try, you will not be able to say with Jesus Notmy will but yours be done untilyou are able to believe that Godswill for you is good. You may speak the words, but you can onlyrealize the prayer when you are joyously, enthusiastically in avoro having Gods good maniest in your lie.

Will is developed in the middle o the orehead, close to the seato understanding in the ront o the brain. These two powersare closely related and are to be awakened and trained together.Arm: Gods will for me is good, more than I can begin to imaginein my human thinking. Then look around to see how this Truthapplies in your lie, your aims and your relationships.

The disciple who represents will was a man who needed strongdetermination to do the job he did beore joining Jesus. Matthewwas a tax collector and had to be thick-skinned and determined.

Even will that has been wrongly directed in the past can betransormed immediately when touched by the Christ, asrepresented by Jesus. When Jesus said to Matthew, Follow me,the tax collector immediately let everything, and rose and

ollowed him (Lk. 5:28 RSV).

Remember especially that will and understanding, both workingrom centers in the ront brain, must cooperate. Understanding

WillI choose my good based on spiritualunderstanding.

on its own may do nothing. Will, on the other hand, may goahead orceully and do the wrong thing. Working in harmonytogether, the two aculties accomplish much. Will determines themovement; understanding decrees the direction.

These are the steps in developing the aculty o will:

Willingness1.Willulness, the human determination o the will tohave its own way, must be replaced by willingnessthewillingness to learn, to change, to cease resistance, to goGods way. Consciously take this step to release old habitsand attitudes.

Resolution2.

Determine the direction you will take and then establishthe strength o determination to ollow through on it, notin the human sense o getting your own personal way, butin determining a path o spiritual growth.

Training3.

In order to be qualied to direct the activities o the other

powers, will must be re-educated into right thinking,taught to make right decisions, and schooled to workunder the direction o growing spiritual understanding.

Obedience4.

Learn to be responsive to the voice o Spirit within. As youcontinue to be true to your highest present understanding,you will awaken a greater awareness and comprehension.

Government5.

Will now unctions under the Christ, the spiritual nature.In human consciousness, through the exercise o human

will, you can (and do) ail, no matter how orceul youare. In divine consciousness, under God direction, you areinvincible.

Surrender6.

Give up all personal direction o the will as you say with

Jesus, Not my will but yours be done. This is not anegative sort o submission, but a positive activity inwhich you give all power to the Christ within.

Unity7.

Move past surrender into the ultimate oneness with thewill o God. You no longer have to think about it or beconscious o it. You simply let your lie move in harmony

with it as Jesus did.

Developing the aculty o will in a spiritual way must be done ina relaxed, willing, expectant rame o mind. I you nd that thereis a tendency to become tense and to try to orce this aculty, stopand take stock. Re-educate the executive power o your mind tounold your divine potential in all areas o lie and living.

Establish a Center for Order

Why does humankind, the highest orm o lie, seem to have somuch diculty in establishing harmony, right relationships andorderly growth, while animals, plants and birds go right alongliving as they are intended to live, doing what they are supposed

to do?The answer is that we have been given reedom o choice, thechoice to seek or not seek the kingdom. That choice is part odivine order. Humans alone, as co-creators with God, can thinkconsciously, make decisions (right or wrong), and determine thedirection their lives will take. All other orms o lie simply ollowinstinct.

To develop divine order, you must learn to cooperate withspiritual law. Orderly and harmonious cooperation with divinelaw leads to the orderly, harmonious unoldment o your spiritualnature in the same sequence that nature ollows in its growth.

The disciple who represents the aculty o order is James, the sono Alphaeus, sometimes called James the Lesser. Its not known

whether this disciple was called the Lesser because o his statureor because he was considered less prominent among the groupthan the other James, the son o Zebedee and brother o John.That James stands or the quality o wisdom. Since both discipleswere called James, we see that the qualities they represent must beclosely related.

The centers or the two Jameses are in proximity to one another,

indicating a need or close cooperation between the two aculties,wisdom and order. The son o Zebedeewisdom, or judgmentresides in the pit o the stomach, while the son o Alphaeus, the

OrderMy lie is balanced and in order, and all is well.

The steps in developing spiritual order are:

Orientation1.

Through learning Gods laws, you completely change

your outlook. You establish new patterns o thought, newattitudes and a whole new outlook on lie.

Consent2.

Mental acceptance o a spiritual world based on spirituallaw is not enough. You should also accept the ideaemotionally.

Cooperation3.Apply the principles you now have accepted mentallyand emotionally. Put them to work as part o your dailyexperiences. Cooperate, or work with, the spiritual lawsas you understand them.

Harmony4.

Harmony cannot be established in mind, body or aairs

except through cooperation with divine Principle. Ordermust be based on harmony, or it is not order at all.

Order5.

Order based on enlightened cooperation with divinelaw and divine guidance brings about right adjustmentand harmonious growth. You are progressing under Goddirection in a divinely unolding way, continually bringingorth more and more o your divine potential.

Freedom6.

Under the leadership o wisdom, zeal becomes a tremendousspiritual energy that carries you orward to greater and greaterachievement. But it must be exercised rst in a prayerul way,transorming the inner person according to the spiritual pattern othe Christ. You will have the greatest ability to inspire others whenyou are alight with the radiance o your own Christ experience.

Elimination is the ability to cleanse and puriy the whole being.When you look at the whole picture, youll see the need to releaseand let go in order to prepare the way or greater good to come in.

Just as you would remove weeds rom a fower or vegetable garden

in order to give the desired plants room to grow, so you mustremove weed-thoughts rom your mind to prepare room or yourbudding spiritual assets.

The disciple who represents the aculty o renunciation in Jesuscalling and training o the 12 is Judas Thaddeus, also reerred to asJudas, the son o James to distinguish him rom Judas Iscariot.

Thaddeus makes his home near the base o the spinal column,rom which he supervises the elimination o waste rom the body,as well as the greater work o sorting and releasing thoughts andeelings that are not in keeping with the perect-human idea beingdeveloped under the Christ direction.

Not only should you let go o all thoughts which are not inkeeping with divine conceptssuch as ear, doubt and worry

but also relinquish thoughts, concepts and eelings that have beenoutgrown, though they once served a useul purpose.

When Jesus spoke o denying the sel in order to ollow him inbringing orth divine potential, he was not reerring to a denial oidentity. Renunciation is a continuing process o denial. In orderto become completely ree o the past, quietly and gentlytake command o your mind. Reuse to give support tothe things that do not belong, and they will slip away orlack o nourishment.

Refinement4.

You are passing through a level in which your wholebeing is rened, as metal and other substances arerened in the re, reed rom impurities and prepared ornishing in a new orm.

Remission5.

Elimination is the work o the grace o Godtheorgiving love o God that sets you ree rom pastmistakes and the karmic results o those mistakes. As you

With the Christ in charge, wise choices are continually
