Condition monitoring is based on a systematic condition evaluation for all drive engineering
components. The approach includes measurement, interpretation and visualization
of defined parameters. These are then forwarded to your planning system if required.

CDM® Maintenance Management
Under the aspects of LCC (Life Cycle Costing), TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and TPM
(Total Productive Maintenance), the modern maintenance gains even more importance.
This is especially true for modern, interrelated production processes that require significant
investments and that are characterized by a high equipment intensity. The CDM® mainte-
nance management service offers you a comprehensive package of individual services,
so that the availability of your cost-intensive machinery and equipment can be maximized.
An inventory of the installed drive technology
and the drive components in storage, as well as
the recording of the data in an online databank,
form the foundation of our CDM® maintenance
management service. Online condition monitor-
ing, for example by connecting the status of
vibration measurements and oil monitoring to
the databank are also possible. Offline condition
monitoring results, for such as those from an
inspection or maintenance are also projected
into the CDM® databank.
The central recording of all data is the optimal
requirement for a targeted estimate and sched-
uling of periodically required maintenance meas-
ures. Necessary activities, such as maintenance
and repairs are displayed in the databank. This
enables you to create individual maintenance
and response scenarios and achieve a sustain-
able optimization for each drive.
Information can be displayed via the process
control and monitoring facilities. Data can also
be transferred directly via the CDM® databank
to SEW-EURODRIVE and we’ll make sure that
faults are identified in advance so that they can
be kept to a minimum.

DriveAcademy®. It is also possible to coordinate

Life cycle costing is a cost management method that refers to the economic assessment of
investment goods during their entire life cycle.
Two perspectives can be considered:
1. Manufacturer of products / systems (development j disposal)
2. Operator of products / systems (procurement j disposal)
