Cliaic:al Abstract: This 86-year-old female was found to have bilateral ovarian cysts on cr scan.

Gross Pathology: The collapsed cystic left ovary measured 21.0 x 13.0 x 4.0 em. The cyst wall was up to 2.0 em.

The cyst wall and solid areas of the ovary were yellow. The right ovary had a single 4 em diameter cyst with a smooth translucent wall.

For two months this 58-year-old female experienced abdominal discomfort with increasing abdominal girth. An ultrasound showed a 12 em pelvic mass.

Gross Pathology: This 2210 gram, 23.0 x 19.0 x 9.0 em ovary was entirely replaced by a gray-tan glistening

tumor. There were focal areas with hemorrhage.

SPECIAL STUDIES: PAS + diastase positive in vacuolated cells
