When Billy Graham was given a tour of the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, his son Franklin asked him what he thought of it. Until the vision for the Billy Graham Library was explained in these terms, Billy Graham was against the idea of a library bearing his name, so adamant was he against anything that would detract from the message he has preached for more than 60 years—a message that points to Christ alone as the way to God and away from any human strategy or effort to gain salvation.” Billy Graham's heartbeat to simply point people to the Lord Jesus Christ is what this outreach weekend is all about. From the Pastor continued…. “A Musical Journey” Annual Thanksgiving Dinner. This is another op-portunity for us to get together, thank our Lord for His blessings, and be able to share His love to our unchurched friends and family. We are inviting families from the Boys' & Girls' Club and we need families in our church to be host families. Hosting a family entails contacting them before the event, meeting them at a certain time at Glenn Middle School and seating with them and making them feel welcome. We can give you a family's infor-mation if you want to be a host family.

You will be treated to a fun musical journey from the fifties to the eighties by Gerry Bagamano. Gerry will also share how he came to know Christ. Korean church. The Korean Church will also be our guests during our Thanksgiving Dinner on November 17. They, in return, are inviting CHBC to join them for their Special Thanksgiving Service on November 24, 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm, in our auditorium. They also want us to join them for their potluck Thanksgiving Dinner immediately after the service in the Fel-lowship Hall. Let us get to know our Korean brothers and sisters and join them for their special celebration!

If so, please contact one of our staff members.

Our target date is Sunday, November 10, 2013 during our BodyLife Home Group Time but if that doesn’t work for you, you can do it anytime. You will receive all

the materials needed free of charge and any training needed.

What is “My Hope”? At its heart, this outreach is friends sharing Jesus with friends. It’s simple: INVITE your friends and neighbors who don’t know Jesus Christ to your home for a meal or dessert—or gather them at your favorite hangout. WATCH one of several new evangelistic programs featuring life-changing testimonies and powerful messages from Billy Graham. SHARE briefly how Jesus gave you hope and tell what He is doing in your life today. (or ask someone you know to share) ASK your friends if they would like to make the same decision you did to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and pray with them. The apostle Matthew invited people into his home to meet Jesus. (Matthew 9:9-10). Now you can join concerned Christians across America who will al-so invite friends and family into their homes, or another gathering place, so that they can hear the life-changing message of the Gospel. Millions of people have done it. So can you!
