Immigrant pilot groups

• Parcipatory action research work in the workshops during 2010 - 2011

• Estonia:

– InterNations – international organisation with local sub-groups

• uniting expatriates in their resident country on the voluntary basis

• social meetings with new immigrants

• Finland:

– immigrant women´s group in Lahti Parish

• a discussion group with heterogenous group members (language, education, home country )

– Kotka Multicultural Centre

• operating independently after funded by an EU project,

• employs about 20 individuals from various cultural backgrounds

• Sweden:

– Botkyrka Women´s Resourse Center

• nonprofit organization for active women with different backgrounds.

• the aim is to create meaningful life conditions for women living in the area
