Maynard Brothers-September 3 6: 7p-9p The Maynard Brothers are back to open up the dance floor once more! Founding members of the Silver Creek
Band, they played throughout the Upper Peninsula in the 80's and early 90's. They continue to specialize in
50's/60's rock and roll, with folk-rock, country and novelty tunes thrown in from time to time. Bring your
dancing pants and shoes!
Robinson & Rohe-September 10: 7p-9p
Jean Rohe and Liam Robinson met a decade ago through their love of participatory music-
making and American folk song. Their cowritten songs are inspired by the traditions they hold
dear and shine with elegant vocal harmonies and detailed arrangements for guitar, banjo, and
accordion. Whether in small clubs or on festival stages, Robinson & Rohe’s per formances are
intimate gatherings in which listeners are invited to share in the music-making. Acclaimed
songwriters and performers in their own rights, they bring with them a wealth of creative experience: Liam was a
cast member in the Tony Award-winning play, “Warhorse” and recently music directed the hit Off-Broadway folk
opera “Hadestown” by songwriter Anaïs Mitchell. He routinely tours with the Becca Stevens Band. Jean’s songwrit-
ing has won accolades from the Independent Music Awards, ASCAP, and the Montreux Jazz Festival vocal contest.
Derrell Syria-September 17:7p-9p
Singer/songwriter Derrell Syria has a vocal range that spans traditional Scandinavian/Reggae melodies and Gospel
-inspired modulation. He sings his songs in the form of reggae, blues, rock and funk, blending the melodies and
rhythms with traditional Finnish musical themes. Derrell is a favorite, not only in Munising and Marquette, but
throughout the U.P. and far and wide beyond as well! He is fun and talented and always gives us a good show!

travel company. In this memoir, she gives an
unvarnished account of her thirty-two year
business leading backpacking, canoeing, and
hiking trips in the west, Europe, and Nepal.
