You can spend fun filled hours experiencing the quests in Boda Borg, a totally unique activity to Ireland, suitable for adults and children over 7 years and it’s completely weather independent!

The Boda Borg is divided into 15 Quests which contain up to 47 individual challenges. To survive the Quests you will need to employ many different skills you may not even be aware you have - teamwork, ingenuity and trial and error! Bunratty Castle & Folk Park At Bunratty Castle & Folk Park everywhere is open for you to explore! The Castle is the most complete and authentic medieval fortress in Ireland.

Built in 1425 it was restored in 1954 to its former medieval splendour and now contains mainly 15th and 16th century furnishings, tapestries, and works of art which capture the mood of those times.

Funny Bones, SligoFunny Bones House of Fun is a large children’s activity centre based in Collooney, outside Sligo. Vertigo @ Funny Bones is Sligo’s newest, most exciting and unique adventure zone for older children, Student and Corporate groups.

Vertigo is not for the faint hearted with a specially built 6 meter climbing wall and high ropes adventure course not to mention the fun to be had in their Hurricane. 5National Museum of Ireland, DublinThe 3 National Museums of Ireland in Dublin are all free to visit and have great collections as well as a wide range of ongoing events for families. The National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History is home to a wide range of objects, which include weaponry, furniture, silver, ceramics and glassware; as well as examples of Folklife and costume.

The National Museum of Ireland - Natural History has galleries of animals from Ireland and overseas, also geological exhibits form a total collection of about 2 million scientific specimens with a Discovery Zone.

Opened in 1890, the National Museum of Ireland - Archaeology is the national repository for all archaeological objects found in Ireland and displays artefacts dating from 7000 BC to the 20th century. The Irish archaeology collections include The Treasury, featuring outstanding examples of Celtic and Medieval art.

44. Duncannon Fort Maritime & Military Museum, WexfordTake a trip to Duncannon Fort, the fortress built in 1588 in expectation of an attack on the area by the Spanish Armada. The Maritime Museum charts the maritime history of one of the most dangerous coastlines in Ireland, and visit the World at War Museum, for Ireland’s only Great War Trench experience. The pirates and mermaids den is a must see for kids. Open daily June-Sept, and Mon-Fri rest of year.

The Hunt Museum, LimerickThe Hunt Museum, Limerick has one of Ireland’s greatest private collections of Art and Antiquities, dating from the Neolithic to 20th Century, and is well worth a visit whatever the weather! Take one of their regular guided tours or explore the exhibition yourselves. They run regular events and camps for children, including an Art & Craft Club on first Sunday of every Month from Feb to Dec, and admission is free.

94. Crumlin Road Gaol, BelfastThe Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast dates back to 1845 and closed it’s doors as a working prison in 1996. Today the gaol is a visitor attraction - you can take a guided tour of the prison and hear about the history of the site. Visit the underground tunnel that used to connect the gaol to the Crumlin Road Courthouse, sit in the Governor’s chair, view all the wings from the circle and of course pay a visit to the condemned man’s cell before seeing the execution cell where the majority of the 17 men were hanged.
