Linda : Jack, who are you going to vote for?

Jack : You mean for President?

Linda : Yes.

Jack : I'm not sure yet.

Linda : You should make up your mind soon. Theelection is next month.

Jack : Yes, I know. I hear about it every day on the news.

Linda : I'm going to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Jack : I think she is a good choice, but I think Trumpwould make a good President also.

Linda : I know. They're both good. It's hard to decide.Trump is older but he has less experience. Hillary seems tohave a lot of good ideas, but some people say she wants toraise taxes.

Jack : I heard she wants to lower taxes. It's hard toknow what the truth is. That's the reason I really don't payattention to politics.

Linda : Yes, it can be frustrating, but it's important andit's interesting to watch.

Dialog 100 : Joining to a Book club.

Linda : Hey Jack, can I talk to you for a minute?

Jack : Sure, what's up?

Linda : I wanted to let you know about a book club Ijoined a couple months ago. I know you do a lot of reading. SoI thought you might want to come with me next month.

Jack : Oh, that sounds like fun. When does the groupmeet?

Linda : Usually the last Saturday of the month at 9:00in the evening. Is that too late for you?

Jack : No, I think that's OK. What do you talk about in thegroup?

Linda : Well, every month we choose a new book andthen during the next meeting we discuss it.

Jack : What book are you reading now?

Linda : The Kite Runner.

Jack : I've heard that's a good book. What's it about?

Linda : It is a good book. I'm almost finished. Thebook is about a boy who grows up in Afghanistan during the1980s. It's called the Kite Runner because the main charactertakes part in a kite flying competition.

Jack : That sounds really interesting. I'd love to come.

Linda : OK, great. The next meeting isn't for anothertwo weeks. So you still have time to read the book.

Practice these 100 conversations as much as possible. Be familiar withnew words and patterns. Try to figure out how to use the new patternswhich you come across while practicing.
