In combination with the RAUCH weighing system, QUANTRON-E2checks the application rate 100 times per second – during travel.Spreading errors due to varying flow characteristics of thespreading material or changes in forward speed are detectedimmediately and corrected automatically once per second.

While spreading, the smart electronics record all data automaticallyand ensure error-free documentation. The current remainingquantity is displayed at all times. On extreme slopes, the systemsimply switches to hillside spreading mode.

For AXIS-M 20.2 W and 30.2 W the small distance from the centreof gravity and the extremely low intrinsic weight allow the use oftractors in the lower performance range without any problems.

The future on board

Due to their RS 232 serial interface, the AXIS weighing spreaders areideally prepared for current applications in area-specific cropproduction as well as for the use of the RAUCH GPS Control toautomatically open and close the metering slides at the ideal timein headlands. The off-the-shelf USB interface provides elegant dataexchange between the QUANTRON-E2 and a PC or the Internet.

With VariSpread, the driver can adjust spreading width and spreadingvolume quickly and easily by pushing a button during operation inwedge-shaped field or if border lines vary.

VariSpread V4:

AXIS M 20.2/30.2 with QUANTRON-A/-E2 and manual CDA drop pointadjustment are equipped with VariSpread V4 4-fold section control asa standard. By remote metering slide position adjustment, twosections can be achieved on each side.

VariSpread V8:

AXIS M 50.2 W with QUANTRON-E2 is equipped with the automaticCDA drop point adjustment. By remote metering slide and drop pointadjustment, four sections can be achieved on each side.

VariSpread dynamic:

In contrast to conventional section control systems, VariSpreaddynamic provides fully automatic working width and application rateadjustment in a fluent process. Thanks to particularly quick actuatorsfor drop point adjustment, VariSpread dynamic enables almoststepless spreading of wedge-shaped fields. Additionally, the outerspreading ranges can be applied separately. This means that fertilisercan be spread precisely even in problematic areas of wedge-shapedheadlands.

RAUCH QUANTRON-Guide, including the Egnos GPS antenna, canbe combined with all RAUCH QUANTRON-A/-E2 displays.

Unique in spreading technology, the QUANTRON-Guide’sinnovative OptiPoint control opens and shuts the metering slide atthe ideal distance to the field boundary at all time. On field edges,the QUANTRON-Guide controls the 4 sections on the left and rightat the ideal moment. With AXIS M 50.2 W V8, 8 sections can beswitched automatically.

The long and wide CDA slide opening at the disc centreand the gentle high-tech fertiliser transfer to thespreading vanes permit impressive working speeds ofup to 25 km/h without losing any precision.

Even under extreme conditions such as working widthsof 24 m at forward speeds of 25 km/h, AXIS M still allowsremarkable application rates of 500 kg/ha in NPKspreading.

TELIMAT T25/T50 allows precise full and limited border spreadingfrom the first tramline without loss. TELIMAT is folded in front ofthe spreader disc by remote control with single-acting hydrauliccontrols. TELIMAT can be reliably monitored using a well-readablemechanical position indicator.

The GSE 30/60 border spreading unit for AXIS M 20.2/30.2 andAXIS M 50.2 enables precise spreading directly at the field border.If required, the simple manual operation can also be performedwith double-acting hydraulic controls.

TELIMAT T25/T50 and GSE 30/60 meet European environmentalstandards.

The elaborate LED lighting system with dust and spray guardsand high-visibility reflective warning panels ensures on-roadsafety even at poor visibility or when the machine is very dirty.

The large ASR 25 parking rollers allow more flexibility formounting and dismounting the spreader. A quick-release couplingsystem allows the rollers to be easily removed or mounted in thetransport position at any time.

The high-quality UV-stabilised hopper covers ensure problem-free spreading even in adverse weather conditions. Thegenerously overlapping cover edges protect the expensivefertiliser even on long journeys. The entire load area is available atall times in the event of overload.

Standard calibration test system

The European environmental standard concerning fertiliserspreaders requires that these are fitted with calibration test devicesand hopper purging facilities. Since fertilisers vary enormously, onlythe calibration test provides the security you need.

On AXIS, the calibration test device is perfectly integrated into themachine. An ingenious quick-release coupling allows the spreaderdisc to be removed without any tools. This creates adequate spacefor fertiliser collection: Simple for calibration, quick and convenientfor hopper purging.

The RAUCH PPS 5 practice test kit permits cross-distribution to bechecked and corrected quickly and easily in the field. This provideseven more safety and accuracy during spreading, particularly withfertilisers of reduced quality, problematic discharge properties orunknown origin.

Adjustments can be made amazingly fast and reliably thanks to theeasy-to-understand AXIS-CDA setting logic.
