UTM Campus Sustainability has been selected by UNESCO (United Nations Educational Scientific & Cultural Organization),
to conduct 2 MasterClass in 2015;
i. Sustainable Development ii. Living Laboratories Approach It is under a project entitled : “COMprehensive Program to Enhance Technology, Engineering and ScieNCE Education (COMPETENCE) in Asia: The Role and Contribution of Higher Education Institutions” Support and finance by UNESCO & Japan Fund in Trust (JFIT).
The Class will jointly be run by lectures from the Dept. or Urban and Regional Planning, Faculty of Built & Environment, UTM and Queensland University Technology (QUT), Australia.
ASEAN COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP ENGAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION : REVIVING THE SOUL OF HIGHER
EDUCATION DI JEMBER, INDONESIA 16 – 19 October 2014
Objectives: i. Strengthen strategic academic collaboration at the regional level - Malaysia & Indonesia ii. Introduce the Malaysian University leadership model in relation to the transformation of higher education. iii. Practise dynamic and transformational collaboration between two countries towards achieving the ASEAN Community 2015 aspiration. UTM was selected due to our Sustainable Campus transformation agenda, which is in tandem with the Sustainable Development agenda using the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) approach.
Involved representatives from 40 Malaysian and Indonesian universities.

TUGAS DAN TANGGUNGJAWAB PEGAWAI UNTUK MENJALANKAN KAWALAN DAN PENGAWASAN TATATERTIB
STAF BAGI KETIDAKHADIRAN TANPA CUTI Pihak universiti mengarahkan semua pegawai mengambil tindakan awal kepada pegawai-pegawai bawahannya yang tidak hadir bertugas tanpa cuti atau tanpa terlebih dahulu mendapat kebenaran atau tanpa sebab yang munasabah.
Mana-mana pegawai yang gagal atau cuai mengambil tindakan tatatertib ke atas pegawai-pegawai bawahannya bagi kes ketidakhadiran melebihi satu (1) bulan, pegawai tersebut boleh dikenakan tindakan tatatertib di bawah Akta Badan-Badan Berkanun (Tatatertib dan Surcaj) 2000 kerana ingkar perintah, cuai dan tidak bertanggungjawab dalam melaksanakan tugas-tugasnya.

• Pada 5/11/2014 (Rabu):
(1) Seorang staf telah dikenakan hukuman tatatertib atas kesalahan Tidak Hadir Bertugas. Staf ini mempunyai masalah peribadi sehingga menjejaskan prestasinya di tempat kerja. Jawatankuasa Tatatertib menjatuhkan hukuman AMARAN dan TURUN TIGA (3) PERGERAKAN GAJI.
(2) Dua orang staf telah dikenakan hukuman tatatertib atas kesalahan melanggar kesopanan. Jawatankuasa Tatatertib menjatuhkan hukuman AMARAN dan TURUN TIGA (3) PERGERAKAN GAJI.
