You can rent the classic scooter as any traveler who’s a little adventurous would do OR think big and tame a Harley Davidson ! You choose… until then you can sing one of Serge Gainsbourg’s hit and act as you were Brigitte Bardot (not applicable for men).

1. Rent a Harley Davidson

We don’t ask you to climb Mount Everest, but with its 556 meters’ height, the Morne Brabant can be a little challenging. You may have a go-getter nature but you will not go wander all alone up there. You will be guided by the local mountain trail champion.

Sea what? Sea Kart ! It’s something hybrid in between a boat and a Jet Ski that you can rent for an hour or all day long to stroll along the west coast of the island. Speeding, swimming, nice landscapes … a fun experience without taking too much risk, ideal to enjoy the sea at your own pace.

3. Sea kart:

Again, we don’t want you to get in the water with fishes tied around your waist! You simply have to wake up a little early in the morning to meet these large marine mammals. You can even watch them a little more closely with your snorkeling kit.

4. Dolphins observation:

You did not come to Mauritius to play Tarzan and Jane but if you want an adrenaline rush you should consider a zip line runway. Flying over rivers, passing in between trees, discovering the southern flora of the island and stopping by for a swim in the river… fun and thrills guaranteed!

5. Zip Line:

You want to become one with nature? Take a kayak tour for half a day or up to 10 days if you are an advanced paddler! You will discover different corners of Mauritius in a green and sporting way. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen and water and everything should be fine.

6. Sea Kayaking:

You have long admired the sails flying in the sky and looked at kite surfers jumping in the air but your time has finally come! The days when you were sitting on the beach, thinking that one day it’s going to be your turn are over. Mauritius offers great kite surfing sites and schools so go on!

7. Kite Surfing

There is no better way to test your courage than posing (more or less proudly) next to the king of the Savannah. Of course, the risks are low but these beautiful beasts still remain wild animals and you will not escape this feeling of “why am I doing this” when the guide will ask you to pet the animal.

8. Walk with Lions:

If you go for a helicopter tour, you will have this weird feeling when the apparel points toward the ground during take-off. It’s a great and unique experience and a chance to discover Mauritius in an unusual way.

9. Helicopter Tour:

That’s the ultimate challenge for any adventurer who respects himself: take the plunge ! If you are looking for a real adrenaline rush, fast and efficient, well there is only one thing left to do … After the euphoria of the free fall, you’ll still have a few minutes to admire the view as if you were a bird.

10. Skydiving:

There is not only the “sea and sun” option in Mauritius so don’t forget to enjoy yourself and have a lot of fun!
