TERRA CEMENTProven Cement TechnologiesFaster Curing, Stronger, Less Expensive
TERRA CEMENT™
October 2014
Mission
The Terra Cement mission is to develop, produce, and deliver carbon neutral,
sustainable cement technologies that have superior quality and durability at a price
competitive to traditional cement.
TERRA CEMENT™
October 2014
Executive SummaryTECHNOLOGY: Terra Cement has developed a cement production process and
technology that yields a product that is substantially superior to Portland cement in strength, durability, cost, utility, curing time, level of emissions, and resource efficiency. The Department of Defense has been using hydraulic sustainable cement technology since 2007.
REVENUE: Terra Cement will generate revenue through both the production of cement and the licensing of the production process and proprietary liquid additives.
COMPETITIVE TECHNOLOGY: There is only one other supplier of hydraulic sustainable cement that we are of; however the price of their product is substantially higher than portland cement making its entry into the commercial market unviable.

ProductTerra Cement is stronger and less expensive than either Portland cement or asphalt pavement over the entirety of its lifecycle.
• Recycled industrial by-products
• Organically produced additives
• Less than 3% virgin materials
• 50% less mix water
• No emissions
• Low electrical energy
• No thermal energy
• No special curing conditions

TechnologyRenewable, liquid additives are what gives Terra Cement its advantage. These additives, when mixed with an abundant industrial byproduct, fly ash, providesubstantial strength to cement mixtures. The matter of the cement mixture is then allowedto be a composite of cheaper, more abundant materials. This provides a substantial savings.
When fly ash and Terra's additives are combined, the reactive alumino-silicates andcrystalline hydraulic minerals in the fly ash are dissolved, a reactive hydrogel is generatedand crystalline hydrates are formed. The formation of the crystalline hydrates cause set andstrength development.
The hydration of Terra Cement results in an extremely dense, interlocking crystallinecalcium aluminum silicate hydrate (C.A.S.H.) structure. The C.A.S.H. structure is wellknown to offer significant durability benefits over the typical calcium silicate hydrate (C.S.H.) concrete widely utilized today.

Terra Cement is an applicable material across a wide spectrum of the major market.Sales of product and licensing agreements are not limited to the U.S. market. Projects are currently in development for the UAE, China, India, Australia, South Africa, Poland, Germany, Dominican Republic and many more.
Significant Market Applications
TERRA CEMENT™
October 2014
• Roads, Tunnels, & Bridges• Oil & Gas • Aviation runways• Boat ramps• Building foundations• Dams• Precast concrete products• Consumer products
RoadsTERRA CEMENT™
October 2014
Sixty percent of U.S. highways are built using concrete.
Life cycle analysis shows that standard portland cement is on average 37%less expensive than asphalt, which needs frequent repairs.
Terra Cement improves upon portland cement and is ideal for road construction:
• Durable, longer lasting• Supports greater weight with thinner cross section• Lower upfront cost competes with asphalt• Low permeability • Exceptional freeze thaw• Saves 1,803 tons of virgin resources per lane mile• Fast curing time and lack of special curing conditions facilitates fast track construction• Resistant to corrosion of embedded materials, chemicals, and effects of microbial induced
corrosion (MIC)
Anti-Corrosive Technology
TERRA CEMENT™
October 2014
Terra Cement resists corrosive effects of MIC because of the absence of
calcium hydroxide and calcium sulfate hydrate, two minerals that cause
Portland cement to fail when exposed to corrosive acids.
Terra’s cement properties restrict access to ingress and transport of corrosive
liquids through the concrete and reduces the potential of reinforcing steel corrosion.
Portland Cement on the left lost 70% of its strength. Terra’s Sustainable Cement lost less then 10% percent; when two, 4.00 inch diameter x 8.00 inch high concrete specimen, were partially submerged in a 15% sulfuric acid solution for 28 days per ASTM-C-267 guidelines.
Oil & Gas Industry

Due to its anti-corrosion technology, Terra Cement can be used to buildpipelines, sludge pits, chemical trenches, tank bases, and storage tanks.
Other cements require expensive liners and laborintensive epoxy coatings to be used for these purposes.
Portland cement based structures exposed to harsh chemical environmentsmust also employ expensive silica fume, slag cement, and special liquid
additives to enhance the service life of the structure.

Initial Production Facility, Ohio• Pittsburgh, PA is estimated to host over $3
billion of new market construction in 2015.
• Additionally, state of Pennsylvania will build several thousand miles of pipeline to transport natural gas extracted from the Marcellus Shale.
• Ohio site has been identified to provide close access to both Pittsburgh and 2 large-scale coal burning power plants.
• Current negotiations with local plants include a tipping fee paid to Terra for collecting fly ash, substantially reducing Cost of Goods Sold by 36%.
• Site includes up to 1,200 acres of land for permanent mixing facility and storage of mobile plants and other equipment.
