School – leaving ball

Our school Our commercial high school and higher professional school of economics

is situated near the town centre and it´s very old. It was founded in 1919. Our school is in neighbourhood with the town library and the bank and opposite is the farming school. Over 500 students study at our commercial school. The headteacher is Mgr. Jana Turanová. Our school was rebuilt and its colour is yellow. There are four floors in the building. There are twenty-five classes at school and we have new lockers. There is a gym on the ground floor. There are a lot of computer and languages rooms. We go to school for 4 years, from the age of 15 to 19. Best mark is 1 and worst mark is 5. We take final exams if four subjects: one of our another languages or maths, Czech, economics and accounting. In our school teachers teach maths, Czech, English, German, French, economics, accounting, computer science, history, geography and PE, where we do some sports – we play voleyball, basketball and football. We go swimming to the swimming pool. Every class go skiing to the Krkonoše Mountains in the firt year at school. All class go to trip to the nature or to the city as Prague and other towns. We have a school canteen too, where students have lunches. before that each class has its own school-leaving ball. It is a great event for their families, teachers and friends.
