WHY IS HELIUM IMPORTANT?
•Part of Cryocooler system
•Keep instrumentation cool
•Reduce thermal/electrical noise in infrared applications
•Used as a cryogen
•Liquid helium is colder than liquid nitrogen(4 Kelvin vs. ~77 Kelvin)
