#3 “HOW TO LIVE IN GOD’S WILL” Matthew 6:10

Matthew 6:10 (NIV) … Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

1. Heaven is a real place with real resources.

2. God wants heaven to come to your earth.

God is able to:

‣ See the end from the beginning.

‣ Help you live the way He created you to live.

‣ Guide you to the fulfillment of your highest purpose and potential.

‣ Remove from you the impurities and influences that hinder you.

‣ Keep you from decisions and situations that diminish your potential.

‣ Release supernatural resources to you that will enable you to live life at a heavenly level.

3. Experiencing heaven on earth requires personal engagement.

John 10:10 (NLT) The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.

Ephesians 6:11-12 (NLT) Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies and tricks of the Devil.

For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms.

1 Peter 5:8 (NLT) Be careful! Watch out for attacks from the Devil, your great enemy. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for some victim to devour.

1 John 2:15-17 (NLT) Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love the world, you show that you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only the lust for physical pleasure, the lust for everything we see, and pride in our possessions. These are not from the Father. They are from this evil world. And this world is fading away, along with everything it craves. But if you do the will of God, you will live forever.

Galatians 5:17 (NLT) The old sinful nature loves to do evil, which is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, and your choices are never free from this conflict.

4. Prayer brings heaven’s resources and guides you into God’s will.

‣ Want God’s Kingdom to come and God’s will to be done in you.

‣ Stand against anything that opposes God’s rule and will.

‣ Invite God’s Kingdom into your relationships, responsibilities and circumstances.

‣ Turn away from any known areas of disobedience to God’s will.

‣ Proclaim the release of Kingdom benefits and blessings into your life, relationships, responsibilities and circumstances.
