Initial sustainable process changes cost BP $20M, by 2006 BP had saved $1.5 Billion.

IBM overshot its five-year greenhouse gas reduction target (in 2003), saving $115 Million through energy-efficiency initiatives such as redesigning heating and cooling systems.

Environmental Management System (EMS) is theframework with which to consider business decisions. It is GSA’s “sustainable lens”.
