21 INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE
Interview Experience
V Archuna IV year, CSE
1.Odessa Technology
This was the first company where we were informed only on the previous night. So It was like a trail
for all the other interviews.
First round:
This was a coding round where we were given three simple programs with so many test cases. It was
on online compiler and it is important to know all the rules and usages of how to use it. The more the
test cases you pass the more the score you get. I was selected for this round.
Second round:
This was again a coding round with few complexities using array of strings and pointers. I was not
able to clear this round.
Had I trained myself with the online compilers with so many programs in websites like hackerrank,
hackerearth, I might have cleared the second round. This was a drawback.
2.EmbedUR
This was the best company I have ever attended . It is a network based company with a good pay. I
attended this company at Mepco Schlenk and it started with an inspiring pre placement talk. All of us
from Ramco were trained properly on all the topics they informed us(network,c,OS,verbal, qunats).
This company had four rounds.
First round:
The first round was a written test which had questions from C,network, Microprocessor, verbal and
quants. I got selected for the first round.
Second round:
This was a group discussion round. We were divided randomly into many batches. There were two
persons who judged our communication skills. They did not give us any specific topic to be dicussed,
instead we were asked to speak on the topic we wished. I chose to speak on “How do I see myself after
few years”. It was a kind of a general talk and I got selected for this round.
Third Round:
It was a Technical HR round. I prepared on basics of OS and networks. The HR made me convenient
first and started asking me so much questions.
HR: (Seeing the resume) What languages did you use for designing the website for your project?
Me: Sir! I used HTML,CSS for user interface and JSP for back end.
HR: What version of CSS did you use?
Me: CSS version 3 ..
HR: Can you tell me the difference between HTML and CSS.
Me: Yes sir , (said all the differences).
HR: What is deadlock and how does it occur?
Me: (Explained it)
The HR continued asking so many questions from OS and I managed to answer all of them.
Finally he asked me to ask questions to him. I asked him “Sir what kind of a training will I be given
and what is the time duration”. He answered me patiently and it was a satisfied interview for me.
Asmitha and I after attending the Technical HR were pretty confident. It was around 8 P.M. when
they announced the result. None of us got selected. The last round was only a personal HR. The
problem was I didn’t know what actually went wrong and I was so much depressed and confused.
3.InfoView:
The most awaited company was IVTL for me. We started collecting information from the seniors. We
were informed that most of the questions will be from JAVA. We started preparing java (javatpoint)
and the preparations went for around two weeks. It was at Thiyagaraja we attended this interview and
students from many colleges joined us.
First round:
48
It was an online test with two sections. One was technical and second was quants. The first section was
so disappointing that only two questions were from java and most of the other questions were from
data structures(topic that I didn’t prepare). It was too tough. The questions were mostly from time and
space complexities and it was all a scenario based questions. The second section (quants) was a bit
easier one.
The results were announced a week later and I was not selected.
4.Vuram:
We attended this company at MEPCO. The preplacement talk was interesting. First round was a
written test that contained quants, verbal, logical, essay and two programs. It was enough to write the
algorithm for the program. Quants was a little tough. Essay topic was general. One program was to find
the occurrences of a number among an array of numbers. They announced the result after an hour. I
was not selected and I found lack of seriousness was the problem.
5.VERNALIS:
This was the first on-campus interview. Many of our college students attended. The pre-placement
talk was about their clients and the projects they are working on. It was a bit interactive session.
First round:
It was written round that had questions from aptitude. The questions were so tough compared to any
other rounds attended. Data interpretation questions were tough and there was no time to complete the
round. All of us found it so tough. I was selected for this round.
Second round:
This was a programming round. The program to print a pattern (pyramid pattern)was asked and other
questions were like predicting the output , finding out the error etc.
It was after a day that they announced the result. I was selected for this round.
Third round:
The third round was at Vernalis, Madurai. It took so much time to actually begin the interview. Until
then we were asked to introduce ourselves among the students from other colleges too. The first
technical round had the following questions.
What is polymorphism, encapsulation?
Real time example for a class in java?
What is string pool?
What is heap memory?
How do you declare a string in java?
Name certain string methods?
Explain the projects you worked on?
The interviewer asked so many other questions from java and he was completely satisfied with my
answers.
I was selected for this round.
Fourth round:
This was the last round and the Team Lead was the one who interviewed me. He had the paper of my
second round and asked to explain the pattern program I wrote. He asked me questions in between and
I was able to answer.
He asked me questions from database also. He gave me sample tables and asked me to insert a primary
key, use joins.
It was an interesting round and finally I got selected and placed.

MOBIUS KNOWLEDGE SERVICE:
This was the company that came to campus. I am very confident in attending this placement drive. It
consists of three rounds
Aptitude (quantitative + verbal)

HR round
1. Aptitude:
We were confident of our preparation for this round as we had prepared many mock tests under a
similar pattern using platforms like SkillRack and tests provided by Face Academy arranged by our
college.
There were 2 sections (quantitative + verbal). Each of these subsections has a sectional cutoff so we
had to be careful to meet the minimum cutoff in each of the sections.
I successfully cleared the first round.
2. Technical HR:
Technical HR consisted of personnel from the HR person of Mobius asked me about knowledge
services and my experience about previous placement drive
I explained about my experience in detail.
And they inform me to attend the third round.

B.SINDHU
Ramco System
There are two rounds in Ramco Systems
Round 1: Aptitude
Round 2: Technical and HR round
First Round:
There are four sections in round 1.
Section 1: Data Interpretation
Section 2: Quantitative Aptitude
Section 3: Logical
Section 4: Verbal
SECTION 1:
Five questions from Data Interpretation. This part is somewhat difficult when compare with other
sections.
NOTE: For Data Interpretation we must know about all the shortcuts to solve the questions.
SECTION 2:
15 questions from Quans. It covers the topic of
Volume and Surface Area
Problem on Ages
Permutation and Combination
Ratio and Proposition
Probability
Averages
NOTE: Most of the questions from Volume and Surface area, Probability, Permutation and
Combination.
SECTION 3:
15 questions from Logical. It covers the topic of
Seating arrangements.
Blood Relations
Number series
Directions
odd man out
NOTE: Most of the questions are from Seating arrangements (in both linear and circular) and Blood
relations.
SECTION 4:
15 questions from Verbal.
Synonyms
Antonyms
Reading Comprehension
Article and Preposition
Spotting Errors
NOTE: Only one question asked for a long passage in Reading Comprehension. So time consuming is
very important because if we focus on to read that long passage then there will be no time to answer
other questions. Better, first read the given question then read the particular line or passage according
to it in the reading comprehension. No need to read the full passage.
Section 1 and Section 2 was bit difficult to answer but other two Sections are moderate.
Totally 50 questions, 50 minutes and sectional cutoff are taken.
I used to take the Logical section first because it is easy to answer all the questions quickly, next
Quantitative Aptitude I took 20 to 25 minutes to answer this section because it was little bit difficult to
answer the volume, surface area and perimeter for cone, cylinder, square, rectangle and they asked 4 to
6 questions from probability concept, this too also somewhat hard to answer. Then next I used to take
56
DI and Verbal.
Second Round :
This round consists of both Technical and HR.
We attended it through video conferencing and three panel members are there.
At first I told “Hi!! Mam”. They all smiled and reply me happily “Hi Sindhu. Please sit”, “Do you feel
nervous”. I said “No Mam, Why I want to get fear. I am very cool”. Then my interview process goes
on….
First question was “Can you tell me apart from resume” which means whether you are interested in
painting, music, singing or any other social activities.
Second question was “Explain your project”
Third question was “Difference between service and product based company”
Fourth question was “Which one you feel better service or product based company and why” .You
have to justify your answer.
Fifth question, I done my projects in PHP and Java. So the technical person asked me “Why can’t you
use C# for your project?” Because I mentioned in my resume about C# in known languages.
Sixth question, “Difference between Java and C#?”
Seventh question, “Can you describe yourself in one sentence”. I said “Positive thinking girl”. Then
they told me to explain it how. I justify this sentence with a real time scenario then they accept it and
smiled.
Eighth question, “Which language you are comfortable to work”. I said “Java but if you are giving me
any projects in C# also I can able to do because I know all the basics in C#. So it is easy to learn me
further.
Ninth question was “Tell me about your goals” .I answered, “My goal is to placed in a reputed
company and after two years I want to do an MBA in Human Resource (HR) discipline then I am ready
to work in your company in HR department if you hire me”.
They all smiled and wind up the session.
