Al Khalili, Al Ghailani and Co. LLP (K & Co.) was established in 2018. K & Co’s four main
partners have accumulated a wide experience in different fields of law, whether the
corporate side or the litigation and dispute resolution side all of which are based on:
quality, commitment and compliance with the highest standards of professionalism
leading the Partners to incorporate the partnership.
The logo of K & Co “&” expresses the nature of the office and the dynamic spirit that
it feeds on. The spirit of partnership and unity on which the office was founded on
gave it a strong impetus to lead the legal and judicial services scene in the Sultanate,
with a target to reach the regional and global levels in the future. The unity is the
backbone of the company, and it is the belief of the founders that the legal profession
is based on teamwork that drove them to incorporate K & Co.
ABOUT US
K & Co. are pioneers in being the first firm to be
formed by 4 partners in the Sultanate, aiming to set
an example for other lawyers to depend on team-
work when planning to incorporate a law firm.
The Partners come from diverse experiences in the
field of law, giving them the ability to cover many
aspects of the law including but not limited to, cor-
porate, islamic finance, litigation, arbitration, me-
diation, and other fields. The Partners enjoy distin-

The rise of Maadh’s star was very clear in litigation by working on major criminal and civil cases. He gained trust of many client’s by excelling in commercial, criminal and labour disputes.
Maadh holds a Bachelors degree of Law from Sharjah University, and immediately after finishing his stud-ies, he joined one of the largest law firms in the Sul-tanate and worked for 10 years with them where he earned diverse experience by working with different teams within the firm.
Al Ghailani practised commercial arbitration and passed a number of courses in arbitration during his period in the firm, which eventually enabled him to be a certified arbitrator from the GCC Commercial Ar-bitration Centre. Maadh has wide experience working for many international airlines, and prides himself on settling many disputes prior to going to court.
Maadh has numerous societal contributions and school participations as he helped with the initiative “Fak Kurbah”, that won the Sultan Qaboos Prize for Volun-tary Work, Maadh further organised a number of sem-inars and events on law in association with the Omani Lawyers Association.

During his experience in litigation and dispute reso-lution, Sultan excelled in analysing legal scripts and aligning them with the situation beforehand, which eventually gained him the trust of the clients.
Sultan is a graduate of Sultan Qaboos University, specialized in commercial law at the bachelor’s level. He holds a master’s degree in international trade law from the Paris-Descartes University (Paris V). Sultan received numerous degrees in commercial contracts, financial law and investment from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He is also a contributor to a number of scientific re-searches in the field of commercial arbitration as well as human trafficking and commercial competition. His Master’s thesis was in the field of commercial compe-tition and its protection in the European Union and the GCC states.
Sultan further finds himself in the field of commer-cial arbitration with regards to contracting agree-ments and financial disputes in companies.

Mohammed used to work in one of the largest law firms of the Sultanate of Oman. Mohammed’s area & expertise is banking and facili-ties, including Islamic Finance and Private projects.
During his work experience, Mohammed mainly branched in Islamic Finance, Banking and Facilities in addition to working in private projects department. This enabled him to benefit from everything that the corporate world has to offer and at the same time specialise in what he knows best,that being banking.
Mohammed got his Masters in Law from Queen Mary University of London, specialising in Commercial Law with special emphasis on FIDIC construction contracts, Arbitration and Islamic Finance.
Before the above mentioned, Mohammed graduated from Sultan Qaboos University, college of law as first of his batch, which motivated him to further acceler-ate and make the most of his experience as a lawyer, which is why he joined the largest law firm in the Sultanate of Oman to grasp the largest quantity and quality of experience ahead of incorporating K&Co.

Nasser is a specialised corporate partner with vast ex-perience in company establishments, high net share transfers and cross border M & A agreements.
Nasser previously worked on a multi-million dollar embezzlement case, the establishment of a five-star hotel in the Sultanate of Oman, major logistics sector establishments and governing agreements.
Nasser regularly lectures on various streams of the Law and is a regular speaker at Business Law forums.
Prior to establishing K & Co., Nasser excelled at a re-gional firm and received his LLM in Corporate and Fi-nancial Law with Commendation, with emphasis on Corporate Governance and Directors’ Duties
